Cash 5 ticket sold in Rutherford County wins $353,583

The Circle Food Store on South Main Street in Rutherfordton sold the Carolina Cash 5 ticket that hit the $353,583 jackpot on Saturday night. A lucky player beat odds of 1 in 575,757 to match all five numbers drawn: 2-8-11-14-16. A total of 105 tickets matched four out of five numbers to win $209 apiece. In all, Cash 5 players won $422,367 in the drawing.

N.C. Education Lottery players with winning tickets for draw games have 180 days from the date of a drawing to collect prizes. Prizes of $100,000 or more must be claimed at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. We look forward to meeting this lucky jackpot winner!

The jackpot reset to $50,000 for Sunday’s drawing – but was not hit – rolling to $54,000 for Monday’s drawing. We wish all our Cash 5 players the best of luck.

@ PLAYER (W2012) - The random drawings are not affected by geography or any other factor. A player with just one entry has a chance to win. We are sorry to hear you didn't have better luck

I thought the deadline for the first Winning Wednesdays is 11/04/12 with the drawing held the following Wednesay. Lucky-Zone in your post above you said that the first Drawing is being held on 10/31/12. Is that correct. We just had a chance to start entering them in. Please advise.

It states that you will have a draw date on Wednesday 10/29/12 for $2,500 but 10/29/12 is Monday do you mean the drawing will be on Monday or Wednesday which will be 10/31/12?
