Three new scratch-off games launching Tuesday

We've got some new tickets coming out on Tuesday, Oct. 30. How about a sneak peek?

Many of our $3 tickets are considered "extended play" games, which means it takes a bit of concentration to play them. Some players consider that to be more bang for their buck, so our newest ticket caters to those players. Cold Cash Lines has five top prizes of $50,000 and more than $6 million in total prizes. To win a prize, players scratch off their numbers and scratch off matching numbers in the grid below. If all matching numbers complete a row or column, the player wins the corresponding prize. More than 71,000 total prizes of $20 or greater can be won in the game.

Another new game is Triple Winning 7’s. The game offers players eight chances to win the top prize of $27,000. Players who reveal a "7" symbol win three times the prize shown. At $2 per ticket, Triple Winning 7’s has more than $7.6 million in total prizes. .

How would you like a chance to win a quick fifty bucks - or more? Fast $50! is a $1 game that features 20 top prizes of $1,000 and more than 1.3 million winning tickets. Players who reveal a “COIN” symbol win the prize shown. Those who reveal a “FAST” symbol win $50 automatically. Nearly 12,000 $50 prizes can be won in the game.

Remember: From now on, all non-winning instant tickets are eligible for Lucke Rewards points!

@ LINDAWOYEE - Yes. All non-winning tickets for scratch-off games are eligible for Lucke Rewards points that you can then use to enter drawings for the chance to win prizes :-)

Seems to me that the stated odds of winning are far from what the actual odds are. There seems to be less winning tickets than the lottery claims there are. Maybe its time to put my money back into Virgina. Their actual odds of winning have always been better than what is stated on the cards.

@ TASORRELL - The announcement of the winners will be made as soon as possible. Prizes of this size must be claimed at one of the lottery's regional claim centers... we encourage folks to come and claim as soon as they can, but it is up to the winners to make time to schedule that visit.

Question...So I have two non-winnning Carolina Black tickets that I am trying to enter for points and the system is not recognizing them. I triple checked the numbers (to make sure I entered them correctly and to make sure they are definitely not winners) and I can't figure out the problemo. Please note ALL of the other Carolina Black tickets that I have entered begin with the number "292". I notice both of these begin with "222". Any help here? I want my points!!! Thanks :)

wow, depressing not a winner with Lucke-rewards, or the several new 20.00 holiday millions tickets, odds sure dont look good in Durham, maybe next week, month or year-would be nice if winners were posted sooner

@ EVERYONE - The Lucke Rewards drawings were held as scheduled and the winners have been notified by e-mail. Make sure to check the e-mail account that you have listed with your Lucke-Zone account. The winners' names will be announced only after they come to a regional claim center to complete the claims process.

I believe that scratch off's winning mininum amount below a matching number should be the cost of the ticket. For an example if you paid $10 for a ticket there should be no $5 dollar amount listed below a number even if you have multiples that add up to $10. This is even more of a rip off when you have $1 plastered all over a card with 15 winning spots.

Can't wait to see who won. I finally won $500 dollars on the 2500 a week. But why is it that the jackpot mega, powerball always hit in California,New York etc and never around North Carolina. I know has to play to win and every state has the same chance of winning. But dang on I have spent so much money just saying.

@ HENRY - Non-winning Count Up Cash tickets, same for all instant games, are eligible to be entered for Lucke Reward points until claim eligibility is over for the game.

I have always played the $2, $3 and $5 scratch offs and I would win at least half my money back. I decided to take a chance on the $20 holiday millions. I have bought 12 holiday millions tickets so far and have won a grand total of $20 on one ticket. That is terrible odds for such an expensive scratch off. I won't be buying any more of those.

I really like most of the $ 3 scratch tickets, especially with numbers rather than crosswords etc.. I like the "lines" tickets too, gives me an impression of more ways to win. Are they going to may State, UNC or Duke tickets soon?, like they do with Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins?
