Weekend drawings bring big winners and a big jackpot

Powerball players have a chance to win a quarter of a billion dollars this Wednesday.

Because no ticket matched all six numbers on Saturday, the jackpot rolled to $250 million if taken as an annuity or $166.8 million if taken as a lump sum. One $3 Power Play ticket sold in North Carolina did match four white balls and the Powerball to win $40,000. The winning numbers were 3 - 15 - 27 - 58 - 59 and 20 for the red Powerball.

A Carolina Cash 5 ticket won the $159,677 jackpot in the Nov. 16 drawing. The ticket was purchased at the Kangaroo Express on Bunce Road in Fayetteville and the winning numbers were 3 - 10 - 12 - 34 – 36.

Two Mega Millions tickets matched four white balls and the Megaball this weekend and are worth $10,000 each. The tickets were sold at the Quick Shop on Tradd Street in Statesville and at the Piggly Wiggly on South Parker Street in Elm City.

As a reminder, players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.

I wish the powerball was back like it was.Yes the money wentand pays more money only to the Top winners.For the lower numbers match you don't get much.Even with 4 numbers match you only get $100 powerplay it and get $200.You have to get 5 number to win good money in powerball.With 4 numbers match in Cash 5 you get more and cost less to play.

I was laid off after working for 25 years for one company. It is time for a life changing event. I have dedicated 25 years of my life and now it is time to start the process of job hunting again. I have been blessed with alot this year. Although, I am unemployed right now, I have faith that it will not be for long. I didn't get a chance to get a retirement party, but I know that God has something great in store for me. I must keep my head up and know that everything will be alright. I will get a job soon, and again I ask in The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit". We continue to need blessings all over the world. Winning the lottery will be a great thing. I will contribute to the Churches all over North Carolina especially in the rurals poor areas of the counties. Each church in Eastern North Carolina will definitely get $1,000,000 to help with local programs for all the people in these small communities.

It is time for some one from North Carolina to win the big lottery. Jackie Alston was the first winner from the State to win the Powerball November 29, 2006. It is now almost 6 years later and we need another big winner. Although we have had others winners, but we need a big winner from Wake County. We have had winners from the Northeast, Southeast, Northwest. Southwest and now we need a winner from the Central part of the state. That is the mighty mighty Wake County, North Carolina. I woke up today and found out that 3333 fell after putting 4444 in for so long. My heart is heavy today. I guess its just not meant to be. I think NC has the worst lottery. All my numbers come out in other states all the time but never here. Nobody should not have to play so many years and never winning anything worth the wait.
