‘Ultimate Fan’ second chance entry deadline nears

Your first chance to win a race fan's trip of a lifetime is right around the corner. Two winners in each of three second chance drawings will get to design a racing vacation package, choosing between a luxury RV or VIP suite, and the chance to get behind the wheel of a race car.

Players with non-winning tickets in the Ultimate Fan game need to enter them here in the Lucke-Zone by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29 for a chance to win in the March 7 second-chance drawing.

A second drawing is scheduled for April 11, with an entry deadline of 11:59 p.m. on April 4. The third and final drawing date has yet to be determined, but Lucke-Zone members will be the first to know.

We’ve also had two $100,000 Ultimate Fan instant winners so far: a couple from Clinton won the first, while a NASCAR® fan from Stokes County won the other. That meansthree $100,000 prizes are still unclaimed.

@ PLAYER - The drawing was held on 3/7, but there's always a time period where the lottery attempts to make official contact with the winners so they can go to one of our regional claim centers to complete the claim process.. we'll announce the winners ASAP! :-)

@ BK - The lottery has been very successful at raising more money for education each year, and we need staff to do that. We only recommend playing the lottery for fun - if you would prefer not to play games of chance, we respect that decision.

@ 9PEPPER - Thanks for the question: if you enter a non-winning Ultimate Fan ticket under your name, and it wins, legally YOU would have to claim the prize. Maybe you could show your friend how to register for the Lucke-Zone?

Look online at the salaries these people get and you will know where a big chunk of it goes.They never mention this ,Again ,you do not raise anything as if it were not for these poor souls losing all their money buying useless tickets you wouldn't even have a job.With the taxes people pay and the millions from the lottery and it still doesn't cover all the needs,means you have to many needs and may need to give thought to getting rid of some of them

@ GENTILE - Your question is one that we hear often, and here's the key piece of information: the $446.9 *million* the lottery raised for education last year was equal to about 4% of the $10.9 *BILLION* state education budget. We've raised more money each year, and they make a big difference for teachers' salaries, school construction, need-based college scholarships, and prekindergarten programs, but lottery funds will never cover every need.

@ JCC409 - Entries made before 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29 are valid ONLY for the first drawing. You can enter different non-winning tickets into the second and third drawings.

I think what lucky-zone was trying to say is that your entries are good for this drawing and future drawings - or - maybe lucky zone was saying current entries are for the first drawing only, and you need to enter new entries for future drawings ( not sure which of these two answers they were saying )

@ 1ROCK2KING - That is a good question. The answer is that valid entries made by 11:59 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, Feb. 29) are only valid for the first drawing. After tonight's deadline passes, valid entries will be for the next second chance drawing on April 4.
