Have you been watching the Powerball jackpot? If so, you know that it rolled Saturday night to $250 million for Wednesday’s drawing. The jackpot hasn’t been this big since the first week of November.
Someone won $1 million in the drawing. A ticket sold at the Wilco at 6995 Western Boulevard in Jacksonville matched all five white balls. With the new Powerball features that began last month, had the ticket been Power Played, it would be worth $2 million.
The winning numbers were 15-23-43-45-56 for the white balls, and 7 for the red Powerball.
Two tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $10,000 each. One was sold at the Lowe’s Foods on Arendell Street in Morehead City. The other was sold at the Food Lion on North Main Street in Holly Springs.
In all, North Carolina players won more than $1.3 million in prizes on 43,108 winning tickets Saturday night. So, how will the Powerball bounce in the next drawing? We’ll find out at approximately 10:59 p.m. Wednesday night.
