A weekend of big jackpots continues as a pair of tickets split the $330,688 Carolina Cash 5 jackpot Friday night and the Mega Millions jackpot rolled to $241 million.
The Cash 5 tickets, worth $165,344 each, were sold at the Wilco on N.C. 70 West in Garner in Wake County, and at the BP on N.C. 74 West in Monroe in Union County. The ticketholders have until September 12 to claim their prize money - but we'll be glad to meet them sooner than that at lottery headquarters!
The Mega Millions jackpot, meanwhile, continued its roll and is now up to $241 million for Tuesday's drawing. Each time it rolls, it sets a new record for Mega Millions jackpots in 2012.
[Update: The Powerball jackpot rolled to $70 million on Saturday night.]
Check out our blog entry from Friday afternoon for a look at who won big prizes within the last week playing the lottery in North Carolina. We hope everyone's weekend is a great one.

We in Goldsboro would like the golden ticket here to win that money. Let's put Goldsboro on the map in NC as a place to win!
