With no perfect ticket on Friday night, the Mega Millions jackpot rolled to $356 million -the third-largest jackpot in the game's history. If the jackpot rolls just one more time on Tuesday night, it could shatter the $390 million record jackpot seen in the March 6, 2007 drawing.
Meanwhile, five lucky Mega Millions tickets that won $10,000 prizes were sold in North Carolina, at the following stores: the Gate on Rocky River Road in Charlotte; the Fuel Doc on South Church Street in Kenly (Johnston County); the EP Mart on South Wesleyan Boulevard in Rocky Mount; the Murphy Express on North Howe Street in Southport (Brunswick County); and at the Jones Exxon station on N.C. 16 in Stanley (Gaston County).
