Do the lucky folks who won the Cash 5 jackpot on Saturday night realize it yet? Tickets sold at the Eblen Short Stop on Biltmore Avenue in Asheville and the Quality Mart on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem split the $237,662 jackpot to win $118,831 each.

The winning numbers in the drawing were: 11-12-14-17-20.

The lottery advises winning ticketholders to sign those tickets immediately to establish ownership but reminds players they have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes. To collect a lottery prize of $100,000 or more, winners must collect their winnings at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

We'll be here waiting with a big check!

@ COOLDADMARK - A Cash 5 jackpot winner can claim their winnings the next day and receive a check for the after-tax amount. How long it takes for the money to be available to a winner after a check is deposited in their account depends on the winner's bank. As for PB & MM, the lump sum or first annuity payment is available within three weeks of completing the claim process :-)

If you win the Cash 5, or one of the big lottery's such as the Mega Millions/Powerball, how long does it take after claiming the prize to actually get paid the winnings? Very curious about this.

it's not me,i know where my tickets are at,only won a dollar on that ticket for SATURDAY night. congrats to the winners. sure wish it would have come my way. would have the best summer vacation ever! living it up in FL,california, then cruise to cancun,then head off to Hawaii...hope a big win will come my way soon,i'm not getting any younger ya know.
