Tickets in Asheville, Bunn, Durham, and Elizabeth City win big

More big prizes will be awarded to North Carolina players after four tickets won big in Tuesday’s Mega Millions and Carolina Cash 5 drawings.

A “match five” Mega Millions ticket sold at Sonny’s Package on Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville is worth $250,000. Two other Mega Millions tickets, worth $10,000 each, matched four white balls and the Mega Ball. Lucky players purchased them at the Wilco on Main Street in Bunn (Franklin County) and at the Park N Shop on Weeksville Road in Elizabeth City (Pasquotank County).

Someone hit the jackpot playing Carolina Cash 5. A ticket sold at Tommy’s Mini Mart on South Miami Boulevard in Durham matched all five numbers to win $208,794.

At an estimated $94 million, North Carolina players could win another jackpot in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing.

I know the feeling folks,I also play alot also. I spend lots of money trying to win something really Big.I want to get out of debt,start living life with no worries about anything. Take a good long vacation out of here. I'm not getting any younger.Just waiting on the day when my ticket comes out or be drawn on cash5,MM or POWERBALL.Have to be patience,then good things will come.

@ IBSENK - Just like we said before, if you're not having fun, its not worth it. The thing about games of chance is that your odds are the same for every drawing, no matter how many or few times you've played before. The odds of every unique combination of numbers being drawn is exactly the same every time.

I'm beginning to feel like "Player". I have played the same 2 sets of numbers in the Cash 5 now for the past 2 years. I have not missed a day. I have played one set of those numbers in the Mega and PowerBall for the same length of time. You would think I would have won at least a couple of hundred dollars at least once in the past 2 years. Most I've ever won has been $35. I would love to know the odds of hitting at least 4 of those numbers over a 2 year period.
