Green Ball Bonus Draws will boost Pick 3 prizes

If you’re a lottery player who likes Pick 3, we think you’ll love the Green Ball Bonus Draw. Why? Because it offers the chance to win bonus cash every night from July 1 through July 28. For details about how the promotion works, watch this one-minute YouTube video or keep reading.

After the nightly Pick 3 drawing at 11:22 p.m., we’ll hold the Green Ball Bonus Draw. Every player with a valid ticket for that evening’s Pick 3 drawing is eligible for bonus cash at no additional cost.

The promotion starts with six white balls and one Green Ball loaded into a draw machine. When the Green Ball is drawn, players with winning tickets for the draw win bonus money, and all of the balls go back into the draw machine for the next drawing.

If a white ball is selected during a Green Ball Bonus Draw, the white ball is removed from the machine. This means improved odds of the Green Ball being drawn for the next evening’s Bonus Draw. This continues each night until the Green Ball is drawn.

The bottom line is a Green Ball will be chosen at least once every seven days or four times during the promotion – and could be drawn any night of the week!

Those who play Pick 3 regularly know that matching all three numbers is normally worth between $40 and $500. During this promotion,if the Green Ball is chosen in a Bonus Draw, winning combinations are worth between $48 and $598. All Pick 3 prizes and Green Ball bonus money can be claimed at any lottery retailer.

@ KNIGHTTT65 - The way prizes are distributed in the Carolina Black game are similar to what you'd find in other states. We know folks would like to do better than break even, but that takes luck of course! :-)

Why would any of the prizes be $1 on a 5 dollar ticket? So your saying I should have had 5 winning numbers each only worth $1, totaling $5, that makes me feel much better, Now I can say I won Five times one one card!!! and still I broke even!! I would love to talk to marketing!

so somebody got caught down east!!! i had a feeling that the clerks knew the winning tickets. i just bought 5 money $2 tickets in a roll. nothing on not one of the tickets. that's sicken me very much. a waste of money.

@ KNIGHTTT65 - According to our marketing department, it isn't possible to win four $1 prizes on a Carolina Black ticket... more likely you won your $5 back. We can't confirm via internet or telephone, but if you have the ticket scanned, that would confirm it. Best of luck on your next ticket!

sick to death of clerks who want a tip for selling you lottery tickets. If you don't give them a tip, they inore you and make you wait behind many other people.And are just plain rude... always sayin that they hate Lottery but play after every customer who doesn't win and on the same ticket numbers that have been cashed in as winners, watching the next roll for that number. I have fought with clerks who didn't want me to buy a certain number cause they had been waiting for it to come up themselves even through they knew they were not suppose to buy from their store. Lost a lot due to that! Won by buying 5-9 at a time so the clerks didn't get that one winner but can't get my money back tipping and buying behind clerks. I like playing lottery but hate clerks!!!

Posting anywhere I can!! I bought a Carolina Black 5$ scrach card, I had all 4 winning numbers on my card!! The winning amoun was $1 under each of the 4, so In truth I lost $1. I hope someone is watching over these games! Cause thats just wrong!

@ MISSV - You don't need to do anything extra to be eligible for the Pick 3 bonus draw, just have a valid ticket for the evening drawing during the promotion. If players like the Pick 3 promotion, its possible we'll see more promotions for other games. GOOD LUCK!

For that pick 3, I guess it you won for the evening pick it will automatically be on your ticket. Or will a separate be printed out. Anyway this is great because I don't really play pick 3 that much. I will play it now. I usually play pick 4. I wonder if they will do it for pick 4 someday. Probably not, because it will be too much payout.

if you did a poll about people who responded to your poll you may find many of us don't because your poll questions are either to narrow in scope or to broad. you need to put a blank spaces for type in answers. you will find out for about what you are polling about.
