Green Ball Bonus Cash for Monday night’s Pick 3 winners

On Monday night - for a second time in nine days - the Green Ball emerged in the bonus drawing. That means Pick 3 players with winning tickets will be collecting bonus cash when they claim their prizes.

The numbers 8-4-5 combined with the Green Ball to boost the payout to winners. Pick 3 players with 1,006 tickets won a total of $128,354. Depending on the play type and wager selected, matching all three numbers is normally worth between $40 and $500. But since the Green Ball was chosen, winning combinations are worth between $48 and $598.

Because the Green Ball was drawn, all six white balls go back into the mix with the Green Ball for tonight’s bonus drawing. Watch tonight – and every night through July 28 – to find out if your Pick 3 numbers are the winning numbers and if the Green Ball is drawn again.

See this is what the NCEL gets for trying to strategically place jackpot tickets in certain areas and keep them away from areas where a higher percentage of minorities are located. I'm not sad at all that they were scammed out of that million dollar ticket. It makes the Lottery Director looks incompetent, which I think she is. The original Director was the best.

The lottery is here to offer fair games for a fair chance to win, but it takes a lot of luck to win. We have a litany of audited security procedures in place to ensure this to you and all other players. If you are distruting of the lottery, and playing brings you this level of frustration, it might be better not to play.

I stopped playing NC number games. I could never win anything in this state. You know how players say there is a pattern or system they use, well you can forget that with nc. I probably won $30,000 in the Va lottery, but never won anything in NC. I just cant crack that code so I give up.

Comment on big prize money tickets,buy scratch offs all the time,and in our area,we have never had a big winner,but anyway,my question is,why can't you leave that green ball on the pick 3,it's not like that green ball falls every night,and it makes the pick 3 a little bit better to play

So tired of dead repeats, just switching numbers around. I have watched nothing but garbage come out. I keep picking quick picks that are no good, coming out in other states. NC is just making money and nothing else. I've lost so much in the past months till its ridiculous. I went in one retailer store and saw that they only had one roll of scratch offs in their case and I could'nt believe it. Retailers are no different, they got friends.

I read the news story in the Wilming Star news and I don't care for your snippy response. My point is this I buy tickets occasionaly at the Yaupon Beach Kangaroo that was the retailer in this mess. How many $100 and $500 tickets were being stolen before this guy hit the big one. How about a refund?

I purchased a 20x ticket, won 10 dollars and took the ticket to 2 diffrent retailers and they said ticket had already been paid something is not right.

@ DAVYRT - What news story did you read? The lottery worked with the retailer to investigate the situation and provided that information to local law enforcement. Sean Mewherter of Wilmington was charged with larceny and possession of stolen goods. The lottery is seeking to recover the prize money that was paid in order to use it for prize money in a future instant game.

Whoopee! Whoopee! I finally hit my address in the pick 3 today (205) but it came 250, but guess what....i combo it for $1.00; so therefore, u no what that means......I AM IN THE MONEY. THE LAST TIME I HIT WAS MAY 8TH WHEN THE TRIP 0's CAME. IT SURE WAS A LONG TIME COMING, BUT WELL WORTH THE WAIT I MUST SAY.......:-)

Congratulations 2 my co-worker who was one of the pick 3 winners Monday night. She didn't no she had won until i pulled up the pick 3 numbers 2 c what came out last nite since i fell asleep b4 11:22 p.m. All she wanted 2 no is how much did she win b/c she isn't an all time player like me who didn't play bhind her when she told me she asked her baby boy to give her a number and all he kept saying was "458" mommy everytime she would ask him to give her a number to play. I betcha the next time i will listen b/c i would have combo it for $1 and now i would b $598 richer, but oh well; i am glad 4 her and all the other winners on Monday night.
