Pick 4 players win more than $500,000 on 1-9-9-9

We’d like to congratulate Pick 4 players who had good luck Monday night with the combination 1-9-9-9. Winners had 32 tickets worth $5,000 to push a total of $548,000 in prizes.

There are eight unique ways to play and win the Pick 4 game depending on the wager and play type chosen. Along with Pick 3, afternoon and evening Pick 4 drawings are held seven days a week. Drawings for Cash 5 – North Carolina’s jackpot game – are held every night.

One of the fun things about draw games is hearing how players choose their numbers. Many players have told us they choose based on dates that matter to them: Birth years, anniversaries, and others. Do you pick numbers this way, a different way, or Quick Pick?

@ DEEP1 - The amount of prizes paid out to Pick 4 winners depends on how many players picked the winning numbers in the random drawing. Pick 4 players won more than half a million on Monday night and more than $300,000 Wednesday night. The lottery LOVES it when popular numbers are drawn and players win lots of prize money. But remember there's not a single thing the lottery can or should do to influence what numbers are drawn. Best of luck!

I pick a number that i feel might come and lay it until it does come out. The only thing is that some of them takes a long time to fall.

It would be very helpful if the pick 4 has an option of winning some of the numbers like the cash 5. At least 2 or 3 numbers that came out of the pick 4 as some states have.

It's about they pay out some good money on a pick 4 instead of those palsy amounts they always pay out. It's a very simple concept. The more money you pay out on a pick 4, the more the lottery will make, because people will start playing it much more. People get tired of spending their money if there's no hope. The pick 4 have sucked over the years.

I play alot of quick picks and no wins, on all games everyday and it takes weeks for some that I have to come out. I'v tried the other ways as well but nothing like that big win on 1999.If I am gonna loose let it be on a quick pick instead of playing birthdays and anniversaries that takes so long to come out.

Pick 4 would be a good one to play, but it doesn't have the options of first-3 last-3 first-2 middle-2 last-2 as other states promote.

318 because my 66 Plymouth Sport convertible had a (oops that was a 383, maybe I'm playing the wrong number). Anyway... cash 5 is birthday dates plus a QP and the same with MM and PB. However, the ping pong balls haven't popped up to my favor in 5 years yet.
