Three big winners came through lottery headquarters in Raleigh this week.
Martin Hughes of Fayetteville is the first player to win the $3 million top prize in the $120 Million Cash game. "This is going to change my life," Hughes said. “This is crazy. I feel like a burden has been lifted off of me.”
The $120 Million Cash game continued to be lucky for players across the state. Four players won $10,000 in the game this week, including Ricky Church of Hickory, Charles Jacobs of Rocky Mount, Jeanne Lawson of Jacksonville and Franz Lunsford of Durham.
Amy Rowland of Rowan County claimed her $250,000 Mega Millions prize on Wednesday. The China Grove resident matched all five white balls but not the Mega Ball in the Oct. 8 drawing.
A lucky ticket purchased at Great Stops on Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh beat the odds to give a $114,634 win to Steve Wall of Raleigh.

Alyssa Ellington of Henderson won $50,000 playing Diamond Crossword.

Nelson Daubenmeyer of Winston-Salem won $15,000 playing Bonus Jackpot.
