Someone who played Carolina Cash 5 in Morganton won $369,833 on Sunday night. A ticket sold at the Midway Mart on N.C. 64 was the only one to match all five winning numbers in the nightly drawing.
Store owner Tariq Ikram was excited to hear that the lucky ticket was sold at the Midway Mart.
“I’m glad somebody won,” he said. “That’s very good news. I hope it’s someone local but either way it’s great for the store.”
The winning numbers are: 1-20-28-29-39. The ticketholder has 180 days from the date of the drawing to collect the prize money at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.
