Tuesday’s Cash 5 jackpot tops half a million dollars

With eight straight drawings without a perfect ticket, the Cash 5 jackpot is on a roll in October.

The jackpot was last won in the Sept. 29 drawing when a ticket sold in Raleigh matched all five numbers to win $114,634. We’re still waiting to meet whoever bought that lucky ticket.

So the big question is: Will one or more tickets beat the odds of 1 in 575,757 tonight to win the $572,000 jackpot?

@ MICHAELBRI - Unlike Pick 3 and Pick 4, which have set top prizes, Cash 5 has a rolling jackpot... so holding the drawings 2x a day would not work as well for the Cash 5 game.
