Five new holiday games coming to stores on Tuesday

A group of five holiday-themed instant scratch-off games go on sale Tuesday including a game that gives players three chances to win a $1 million prize.

Also, anyone who makes a lottery purchase of $3 or more will also receive a holiday-themed greeting card designed to hold multiple tickets inside from the retailer, while supplies last.

The new $10 game, called Holiday Gold, features three top prizes of $1 million. The game begins with more than $13 million in total prizes.

An old favorite $5 game, Jingle Big Ol’ Bucks, returns with four top prizes of $100,000 and more than $9.4 million in total prizes.

Mistletoe Bingo is a new holiday-themed $3 extended-play bingo style game. It starts with three $50,000 top prizes and more than $3.6 million in total prizes.

For a couple of bucks, Winner Green features four top prizes of $20,000 and more than $4.2 million in total prizes.

Looking for a perfect stocking stuffer? Holiday Cash, a $1 game, begins with 35 top prizes of $1,000 and more than $2.6 million in total prizes.

Even though they make fun gifts, we'd like to remind everyone that lottery tickets should only be played by adults. If you plan to purchase tickets as gifts this holiday season, please give responsibly by making sure that the recipient is over 18 years of age.

@ BADDCATT326 - A random number generator must be used for several reasons. One is security and fairness to players. By using numbers, nobody has any way of knowing which numbers will result in a particular player winning a prize. Another reason is that, if you talk to a computer scientist, he or she will tell you that all data in computers is broken down into numbers - every picture, every letter on the computer screen is made up of smaller bits and bytes of information, ones and zeroes. Like the Matrix movies. So, we use a random number generator as an industry standard.

The NC lottery just gives the majority of ppl false hope. That's all it does.Lets look at it for what it really is. I have been plyn since it started and still ot won anything substantial. Played ever week. Thts a bunch of weeks. I have came to a conclusion , why even bother with instant tix , because you get the same result every time instant losers. I figured out tht the letter L on the tix mean loser of course.

EPIC FAIL, Anyone else Not winning on the $20 $120 Million cash tickets? Its been abosolutely terrible... I am a $20 ticket player all the time. Out of over 50 of theses tickets i've purchased I've only won $20 twicw and $25 once.. Nothing more. Return on over a $1,000 spent is less than $70. Not even fun anymore.. The gold Bullion evidently has many more prizes because at least even now i can at least win my ticket price back. The $10 Holiday Gold has been just as bad as the $120 Million Cash tickets. Seem the NC EDUCATION LOTTERY has lost that balance between winning ticket payout vs losing tickets. Perhaps instead of offering so many top prizes they need to keep people playing so people don't feel they are being taken advantage of.

The numbers games you know your odds of winning big but is there any info on how many holiday gold tickets are made and how many $1000000 winners there are? I know on the back of the ticket it says odds of winning are 1:3.37.

I have seen the dreadful "Gift Horse" commercial and think it reflects poorly on our state lottery if we can't produce something more professional than that. It is worse than corny and I am irritated every time I see it.

Dear anything, I hope this helps you out! The way I do it,is I call out the letters and numbers to myself and then I press the keys for them. Suppose it's b0jxj, say to yourself B0JXJ You must remember that the number is a zero number not the letter o.. that's how I do it, call it out to yourself first and hit the keys. Hope this helps you. I can do 5 tickets in about 5 min flat. Hey LZ, I have a suggestion for y'all, the hit 500 tickets which I did win 250.00 on, Why not have another one with winning a 1,000 on it and 500.00 on the 2 tier prize win, and so on down the line!Just a suggestion! @ ANYTHING - #1: Sorry to hear that you find the entry system frustrating, but it is necessary to have both letters and numbers due to the large number of tickets that are out there and need to be entered. #2: If you click on the "HELP" link at the very top of the Lucke-Zone, you will see a "CONTACT US" button there, that has both e-mail contact and toll-free numbers you can call for technical assistance, information, feedback, etc.

Where do you post feedback for the Lottery? There is no feedback button anywhere on any of the main screens. So, for lack of transparency, I will share here in hopes someone from the Lottery will review the feedback. Relative to entering the ticket numbers, please change from having to enter the combination of letters and numbers to just the numbers at the bottom of the ticket. The letters and numbers are extremely difficult to read so it is like you make it so hard to enter the number that you don't want people to accumulate points.
