Cash 5 ticket in Rowan County wins $236,832 jackpot

Someone who played Carolina Cash 5 in Rowan County hit the jackpot Friday night. A lucky ticket sold at the Citgo on East Innes Street in Salisbury was the only one to match all five numbers, winning the $236,832 jackpot.

The jackpot was hit after seven straight drawings with no "perfect ticket." The winning numbers in Friday's drawing were 7-8-13-35-37. The winner or winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to come to lottery HQ and claim the jackpot.

The next chance to win up to $50,000 in a Cash 5 Bonus Bucks drawing is Dec. 4, with an entry deadline of Nov. 20.

Whatever Will Be, Will Be!!!!! EVA said something told her to get a Cash 5 ticket!! I had that feeling one day also on buying a HIT 500 ticket. Went to pay for my gas and I saw the ticket,some kind of feeling came over me to buy that ticket! So I purchased the tickets went home and scratched it, low and behold it was a 250.00 dollar winner. The win came in handy, because we was heading to Raleigh to spend the week end with my sister. I took them out to eat and went to the flea market shopping on that Saturday at the fair grounds. Had a Great time, just wish now when the next feeling comes over me, it will be the BIG one I hit!! Congrats Ms Eva Corpening on your big win!!!

The first time EVER in Rowan Counrty anyone has won anything. The winners are usually generally within 75 mile radius of raliegh for some reason. Not fair at all. But that is the way it is. RushCo on Long Ferry rd NEVER has any big winners. it is a DUD
