Entry deadline nears for $1 million MONOPOLY drawing

In the classic MONOPOLY board game, you collect $200 each time you pass “GO.” With the lottery's suite of MONOPOLY scratch-off games, you could collect $1 million in the Super Entry Drawing – but not if you let the deadline pass you by.

UPDATE: Due to a message about the status of the Lucke-Zone's security certificate that has interfered with players' entry of tickets, the decision has been made to extend by two days the entry deadline. You now have until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30 to make your “super entries” into the drawing. More information about the date of the drawing will be shared as soon as its available.

You get a super entry by submitting a non-winning ticket for each of the four MONOPOLY games – $1, $2, $5 and $10 – here in the Lucke-Zone. Check out the MONOPOLY portion of the Lucke-Zone's Second-Chance Drawings Page for more details.

The MONOPOLY suite of games was designed to offer lots of ways to land on a prize. Players could scratch and win instantly, enter game-specific second-chance drawings for each of the four games, and earn super entries for the chance to win $1 million. So far, Lucke-Zone members have made more than 130,844 super entries. The final odds of winning $1 million depend on how many entries are made before the deadline.

The Super Entry Drawing isn't the only way to win $1 million playing MONOPOLY. The $10 game started with five top prizes of $1 million. A couple from of Cary and a waitress from Bunn already cashed in $1 million prizes leaving three more that have yet to be claimed.

For your chance to win $1 million in the drawing, make sure to submit at least one MONOPOLY super entry before the clock strikes 12 on July 30. Good luck, everyone!

@ GUINNESS22 - There was only ever one second prize of $1 million scheduled to be awarded in the MONOPOLY super entry drawing. The second-chance prize was "built in" to the suite of MONOPOLY games. The prize money for a particular instant scratch-off game or suite of games is generated by ticket sales for that/those games.

I bought a Bonus Crossword scratch off for $3. I found three words, but the "THR" is not printed in the background of the ticket. I was also able to enter the ticket on Lucky Rewards. How is this possible? The prize key states 3 words = $3. It's not much, but it's the principal.

i was just going to try and submit some tickets this am when i logged in and clicked the link for the ticket entry my browser blocked me and said the site was not secure that copied directly from my browser... rewards.lucke-zone.com uses an invalid security certificate. i hope that our information is secure and hope this is only a short term issue .

To the 975 entries; there are 225,000 people playing lucke-zone. If each put in just one entry for the $2,500 your chances would be 1 in 225 of winning. That means you should win once in 225 times. Think about it! The odds are not good but someone has to win!! So play but don't count on winning.

I would like to see more machines where you put your money in and select your scratch offs. When I enter in some of these retailers,they have their tickets blocked by so much stuff around the ticket area and you can't see them tearing them off. I went to one place their tickets are not visible at all but under the counter away from customers view. I was wondering if that was okay for them to that.

About 29% is provided to the state to support *specific* education programs: teachers' salaries in grades k-3, local school construction, prek for at-risk four-year-olds, and need-based college scholarships & financial aid. 7% is paid to retailers for selling tickets. The remaining 4% is what it takes to make all that happen: ticket printing, statewide computer network, advertising (less than 1%) and the cost of administration.

You know when I think about it I don't even know why I waste my time and money on ncel...it's kind of like Charlie & the chocolate factory, thousands probably even millions play but only a handful, if that, win! I will not be playing anymore because it's suppose to benefit the education system in NC but I can't tell...I bet the people who run the lottery make more money than is donated to ANY of these schools. My son's school mainly relies on donations from parents & companies/corporations and of course fundraisers, so forget the ncel!

I would like to say that the NCEL is doing a great job of keeping our state dollars going out of state to other lotteries with the way they keep improving the structure of it to benefit players.Our second chance drawings are honest and well run and if you win, you know the money is good! Players, trust me when I say that I too know what it feels like not to when when you have submitted a LOT of entries. I submitted the max. amount(30) entries per day for a total of 750 chances to win in the June Hot Summer Second Chance for $5000 and did not win (so 273 entries don't feel too bad) but I will be back for the July and August drawings with the Max. # of entries per day because you never know WHEN your blessing might come....If you are going to play...STAY ENCOURAGED... I will say one thing though, the last time I checked 19 of the 20 winners in the June Hot Summer Second Chance had been selected and not a single one was from Charlotte, N.C and I know Charlotteans play the lottery a lot...talking about LUCK OF THE DRAW....

Well......I have one entry for the $1000 and one entry for the super duper million. I think I will buy a couple monopoly tix this weekend and.....if I can win some cash, then I buy a complete round in order to have one more entry in the super duper million. In fact, maybe one of those tix will be a big winner itself.....that's nice ! lets think about that for a while, just think what I could do with a few grand, or a mil!!!

It is really hard to take someone seriously when they cannot spell. Obviously by your ranting the education system was at the bottom of the barrel so just let people play the lottery. It can't be doing damage to the NC education because you are proof that it was completely broken before the lottery even existed.
