Pick 3 players who like the number 2-2-2 were smiling after Thursday night’s drawing. A prize total of $1.9 million will be split among the 5,283 lucky winners. The big payout comes two weeks after Pick 3 players won $1.3 million on triple 6’s in the Aug. 7 evening draw.
Until Thursday night, triple 2’s were most recently spotted in the daytime drawing on Oct. 30 of last year. In the history of the game, the particular combination has now been drawn four times.
Of the 1000 possible number combinations that could be the winning numbers in a Pick 3 drawing, ten of them are “trips.” Congratulations to the winners and best of luck to everyone in the next drawing!
