Super Loteria game starts next week

The First Tuesday of September is next week and that means new scratch-off games. One of three games starting Sept. 3 is a new version of the popular Loteria game, Super Loteria. The $3 game begins with four $50,000 top prizes and more than $1 million in prizes from $50 to $5,000.

Like in the original game, players scratch off their “Caller Cards” to reveal 14 Loteria symbols, such as the drum, the watermelon or the arrows. Then, they scratch off matching symbols on their playing board. If a player’s symbols match either a complete horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of Loteria symbols on the playing board, then they instantly win the prize shown.

Just in time for Halloween comes Scaredy Cash, a $2 game launching with four top prizes of $20,000 and more than $1 million in prizes between $20 and $100. You can win prizes by matching any of 10 numbers to two winning numbers. Revealing a “Moneybag” symbol wins the prize shown instantly. Players who reveal a “Double Moneybag” symbol win double the corresponding prize.

We're doubling up on the $2 games this time around. $40,000 Bankroll, another $2 game, features five top prizes of $40,000. The game begins with more than 24,000 prizes from $40 to $1,000 and more than $5.9 million in total prizes. Scratching off a “$” symbol wins the prize shown instantly. Players who reveal a “Bank” symbol win all 10 prizes shown instantly.

The odds of a win on a scratch off in NC is low in my opinion when compared to Va. That's why I still go there to play.

@ PLAYER (HARELESS) - What do you define as "the southern portion of the state?" Geography offers no advantage or disadvantage when it comes to playing the lottery. The odds just play out more often in places where more people are taking a chance to win.

If we don't hear back within 48 hours, we attempt to reach a winner by telephone, then certified mail if necessary. Good luck!

I get sooo aggravated to see a multiplier on a scratch off that only equals the ticket price. A multiplier should actually multiply an actual prize amount! Hitting a double on a $10 ticket should not have a $5 under it, when there are no $5 prize levels on a $10 ticket. I feel cheated every time!

come out with a $10 ticket with no break even prizes. let the least you can win is $20....with a top prize of $15,000. loaded with $250 wins.

Don't mess around much with the lower tier games, to hard to win on them. But the BANKROLL game with a 40,000 win sounds good! Now 10 x the cash has a nice amount to win, still has 5 top prizes left on it, if I can get lucky enough to get the right ticket. Big Money looks good too, for 40,000 thousand, but only 1 top prize left on it. The 1,000 a week for life would be a nice one to win, but it only has 1 left also. So I will wait for the new tickets and give them a try. Better losing a dollar instead of 5 and 10 bucks on higher tickets. Good Luck all!!

@ PLAYER (FLOWERPOWER) - Higher ticket-price games tend to have higher payout percentages actually. With all kinds of gaming, higher risk (higher ticket price or longer odds) usually means a higher potential reward (larger prize).

Thats good you came out with $3 and $2 games because the $5 and $10 arent paying off much,thats the plan right lol. @ LOTUS - Each game is different. If you're going to compare games, don't just look at the overall odds of winning including break-even prizes, look at the odds of winning prizes at each level.
