Ticket sold in Raleigh hits $114,634 Cash 5 jackpot

One of the most fun things about playing Carolina Cash 5 is that the jackpots can get big, fast. It took just three nightly drawings for it to grow from $50,000 in Friday’s drawing to $114,634 in Sunday’s drawing. That’s exactly how much somebody won thanks to a lucky ticket sold at Great Stops #3 on Falls of Neuse Road in Raleigh.

The winning numbers for the drawing were: 15-22-26-30-37. The winner has 180 days from the drawing to collect his or her jackpot.

Another Cash 5 jackpot – this one worth $272,453 – will go unclaimed unless someone steps forward by 5 p.m. Tuesday with the winning ticket. The lucky ticket for the April 4 drawing was sold at the Shell Food Mart at 2736 Freedom Drive in Charlotte. The winning numbers for the drawing were: 2-9-13-28-34.

I have been playing the same cash 5 numbers for last three four months, but tonight I was told wager liability at two different places on my cash 5 numbers, never herd so much baloney, hope my numbers don't come out tonight

@ PLAYER (MYCHANCES) - Any Cash 5 Bonus Bucks entry slips you received before the Sept. 18 deadline were good only for the Oct. 2 drawing... any entries you received after the Sept. 18 deadline are good for the next Bonus Bucks drawing that will be held on Dec. 4, with an entry deadline of Nov. 20... good luck!!!

Sometimes businesses do not want to keep as much cash on hand. Grocery stores are often a good place to get slightly bigger cash payouts.

This past weekend I noticed some unusual signs up inside at the check-out counter at a local Exxon Station/Convenience Store that I go to weekly. It says "Cash Payouts up to $200 only".. I thought it was a rule that any and all NCEL retailers have to pay out up to $599.99?!

Sometimes winning depends on your attitude When you think "I want to win." I won 20 dollars with a scratch off ticket. I saw two teenage boys skate boarding and shared 5 dollars between them to buy sodas. They was surprised. I felt blessed. RB

This lottery is a waste of moneyb it doesn't benifit No one n there's never a winner in Henderson nc guessthis poor ol place isn't putting out enough money but Raleigh capital has at least one winner a week What's wrong with that picture if u ask me it's rigged

272,453 sure would have been a nice payday for me! I can't believe that it came and went away for someone! I check my tickets every morning. I hope who ever has the ticket come forward before the deadline,itis possible that maybe someone could have been visiting the city or just passing through and never thought that maybe the ticket was a winner or even check the numbers.

@ NICOLE - That information isn't available. But, we've tried hard to locate the winner by posting these blogs, putting a banner up at the store, and talking with local TV stations and newspapers to promote the fact the ticket will expire. Just less than 24 hours to go!
