Big winning tickets sold in Cary and Goldsboro

Someone in Cary matched all five white balls on their Powerball ticket in last night’s drawing and has 180 days to claim a $1 million prize. The winning ticket was sold at the Grocery Boy Jr. on Kildaire Farm Road. The winning white ball numbers were 2-9-26-45-47.

Just a few minutes later, a Cash 5 ticket sold at the Hasty Mart on Miller Chapel Road in Goldsboro matched all five numbers in the drawing to win the $568,550 jackpot. The winning numbers for the drawing are 18-24-25-27-30. The player beat odds of 1 in 575,757 to win the jackpot, which restarts at $50,000 in tonight’s drawing.

063 came up again today. You will never win on the pick 3 if the numbers repeat from draws three, four days ago. If you gonna repeat, do a direct back to back repeat and players will be prepared for it. LOL

@ EARL2212 - Cary is one of the largest-populated places in the state. Now if we've said it once, we've said it a million times: Players living in high-population areas have no better or worse chance of winning the lottery; there are just more people taking a chance to win.

On the cash five I got the number 18 and then the rest of them was just one number away from hitting it. I can't never be lucky looks like I'm gonna have to drive to Cary and Greensboro to try my luck.

LOL@ Jaytonius, if you hit those 8888, you are not going to quit. It will make you play even more. That's how I got hooked on the pick 3 and pick 4(when I hit those trips and quads in Va a few years back). If you win $5000 or more, you gonna want more. It's the nature of the beast man. lol

We Bought 3 tickets in Cary I had to double check my numbers as I swear 6 years ago I was the person who threw away that 150k ticket that was never paid. I think I was on pain meds and thought the drawing had passed already. i dug in the dumpster to no avail.
