At last, the North Carolina State Fair is here, and we’re so there. From opening day on Oct. 16 through Oct. 26, we’re excited to add our games to the mix of festive sights and sounds – and who can resist the smell of fair food.

It’s easy to find us. Just look for the giant helium balloon decorated with the lottery logo flying high above our booth near Dorton Arena.

It’s also easy to get a chance to spin the prize wheel for a bonus prize. Buy $7 worth of tickets and you’ll spin for State Fair & Education Lottery-branded items like a t-shirt, canvas tote bag or set of stadium cups. You could also walk away with a MONOPOLY™ top hat, or even a complimentary ticket for the new Papa John’s game which has instant prizes up to $20,000 and a bonus code for a free or discounted menu item from Papa John’s.

There’s more. If you buy $10 of All or Nothing tickets, you get to spin the prize wheel twice. Once the new MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ lottery game begins on Sunday, visitors to our booth can buy $10 worth of tickets for the game and, in addition to a spin of the prize wheel, get a MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB T-shirt.

Try again with the subject line "public records request." It may not be possible to comply with such a time-intensive request, but you should get a proper response. We know you aren't happy with the winner page changes, the marketing and web development team does the best it can to present lottery information for players.

Information about lottery wins is available to the public. If there's something in particular you'd like to know, just e-mail playerinfo@lotterync.net and we're happy to respond. At the end of the day, lottery tickets are a consumer product, so the website is designed to highlight information most interesting to most people :-)

AT times, it can be difficult to find the 12 digit number on the front of scratch tickets .Why not show the ending (4) digits of the 12 digit number. Thus make finding the number not so difficult. This I believe would make the lottery scratch process more user/customer friendly .For a lottery winner, it probably doesn't matter but for the losers playing The second chance , it would be a welcome change.NC Lottery

I was looking back at the old blog posts, and was wondering why dont Lucke Zone do the triple point Mondays or double point Tuesdays,etc any more? AND cant we have more than 1 winner a week on winning Wednesday, with over 300,000 members?NC Lottery
You will see promotions from time to time here in the Lucke-Zone, stay tuned :) As for Winning Wednesday, not sure what you mean; the prize amount and number of prizes varies, but we have lots of winners!

What is the fix/resolution for the following error below. I tried after 24 hours and samee message pops up. IE: You have been locked out for too many incorrect code entries. You may try again in 24 hours. If after 24 hours you continue to see this message it means you have been permanently locked out for too many incorrect code entries.NC Lottery

still no more extra prize money in the Cash5 bonus bucks drawings, so the NCEL has just pocketed the unclaimed money from past drawings, not cool, the NCEL sure has gotten very greedy the last year or so, just look at the All or Nothing drawings, still no top prize winner and the Millions of scratch-off tickets being made. When Bonus Bucks prizes go unclaimed, half goes back into the prize pool; the other half to education! All or Nothing is really cool because the odds make it easy to win a prize at some level, with the chance to win $250,000 for just $2 per play :-)

Taking away the $1000 winners doesn't seem fair to the regular players. Seems awfully suspicious. You folks are so paranoid of us. Seems to me if you have to go to the lottery office to collect your winnings in should be public knowledge. Shame on you.NC Lottery
We remember our conversation with you about the changes to the winner page. And we're sorry that you don't like the changes. The web development staff made the changes to try to improve the experience, not for the purposes of restricting information. Public information about all lottery wins of $600+ is available to anyone who requests it, just not all of it on our website every day. Part of our job is to show the public that real people win lottery prizes, and the volume of $1,000 wins was drowning out the more significant wins.

Why did you change the way you show the winners on scratch tickets? You used to have all listed from $1,000 and up. I wonder if it has something to do with the same people winning over and over and it isn't as easy to follow their names anymore?NC Lottery
The winners' page was in need of an overhaul, and we still think it can be improved.
