How to win Top Prize in MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES' CLUB™ game

One of the cool features of the new MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB game is that it offers three ways to win $1 million or more. Since this is the first week of the new game, we wanted to share more details about each way to win in a series of Lucke-Zone blogs. Today’s topic will be how to win the Top Prize.

Instead of a jackpot, the largest prize you can win in this game is the Top Prize. It starts at $15 million. If it is not won, it will roll until it reaches $25 million. That’s as big as the Top Prize will get. Once the Top Prize reaches $25 million, it stops rolling so that more players can win Millionaires’ Club prizes of $1 million.

You win the Top Prize by matching five of five numbers and the Property Name/Number in the weekly Friday night drawing. You can Quick Pick the five numbers or choose them yourself from 1 to 52. The Property Name/Number between 1 and 28 will be randomly selected for you as a Quick Pick and each number represents a property from the MONOPOLY game board. You can use a play slip to buy a ticket or ask the retailer to sell you a Quick Pick ticket.

The odds of winning the Top Prize are one in 73 million. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot, which starts at $40 million, are 1 in 175 million and the Mega Millions jackpot, which starts at $15 million, are 1 in 259 million.

If you win the new game’s Top Prize, you can claim the full guaranteed $15 million as an annuity in annual payments over 30 years or you can take a lump sum. For the first drawing on Friday, Oct. 24, the lump sum amount will be $9.3 million.

Tickets can be purchased until approximately 10:15 p.m. before each Friday evening’s drawing and sales resume following the drawing. Drawings are held Fridays at approximately 11:15 p.m.

So when the drawing is held, match the six Draw Numbers at the top of your MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB ticket with the winning numbers to see if you have the lucky ticket. You can get results on our website. You can also get winning number information by visiting lottery retail locations statewide or calling Customer Service at 877-962-7529. To make it clear what state the ticket was purchased in, so that when a Millionaires' Club Drawing leads to $1 million winners, the winning number can be made public and we can wait for new millionaires to come to headquarters to claim! :)

Monopoly Jackpot was apparently won by someone outside Nc ON 11/18/14. Are the NC Millionaires' Club Draw Numbers "in the hat" for the 16 millionaires in the secondary drawing, or does the Jackpot Winner have to be in NC in order the Club Draw Number to be eligible to win $1,000,000 in the secondary drawing? When the top prize is won is there no guarantee that someone from north Carolina will win one of the secondary millionaire prizes??? I have purchased 20 tickets each draw costing $100.00 per draw for a total of 60 tickets via the first three draws and have only won on 3 tickets a total of $17.00 ... only to find out that someone has won the top prize this last draw and it doesn't appear anyone from NC won one of the secondary millionaire draws???? Also I do think its very questionable I get a lot of duplicate properties gives me the impression that the computer is programmed to give out a higher volume of properties that will not be drawn to minimize the winners and maximize the revenue generated at the players expense.

HI LZ....so...let me get this right...right now the top prize is 15 million and there are 10 millionaires club prizes...so if no one wins the TP and it goes to 25 million 10 more club prizes will be added for a total of 20 club prizes of 1 million each? The number of $1 million prizes available in the second week's drawing will be announced next week. There is no cap on the number of $1 million prizes. I like how you stated and compared the odds between this game and Powerball or Mega Millions ... as if 1 in 73 million makes it any easier to win HAHAHAHA! Heck I can barely win with a scratch-off that's 1 in 3.85 including breakeven prizes! Let's hope I can get "lucky" with my 50+ entries for the Home Theatre Package ... btw usually on average how many ticket entries are there for these types of drawings ... I had over 75+ for a past Springtime Tech Drawing and didn't win even though there were like 6-10 winners drawn! Phooey! Maybe one day ;-)
