Deadline nears for $50,000 Bonus Bucks drawing

Carolina Cash 5 players who want a chance to win $50,000 in the next Bonus Bucks drawing have until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3 to enter. The drawing will be held on Dec. 18 and it’s easy to be eligible to win.

To get any entry slip for a Bonus Bucks drawing, make a $5 Cash 5 purchase in one two ways:

Select five sets of numbers for one drawing on a single ticket purchase
Choose one set of numbers for five drawings on a single ticket purchase

When you do this, you’ll get your $5 Carolina Cash 5 ticket and a separate Bonus Bucks entry slip will be automatically generated - at no extra cost. Each entry slip has a 9-digit number.

If the number on your entry slip matches one of the winning numbers in the Bonus Bucks drawing, you win a prize. For each drawing, five prizes will be awarded: three $1,000 prizes, one $5,000 prize, and one $50,000 grand prize. After the drawing, check the Bonus Bucks page on the lottery’s website to find out if you’re a winner.

Bonus Bucks entry slips issued after Dec. 3 will be valid for the next drawing, which is scheduled for Feb. 19, 2015.

I live in Burke County. However, I am in 2- 5 counties on a fairly regular basis, they are: Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, McDowell, and Buncombe. I buy tickets in all of those areas.NC Lottery
So the #1 thing is that a ticket you buy in any of those counties has just as good a chance of winning a prize as a ticket sold anywhere else... there are just many more people taking a chance to win east of where you live. I have 6 entries and still waiting on a win. I have been buying these tickets every since they started these extra drawing! Just wish I could win any one of them prizes. It's discouraging to see the imbalance of winners in NC. The eastern side of the state has frequent winners, whereas the western areas have far fewer winners. What's the deal with that. Sounds like the games need to be shaken up a bit to allow equal opportunity of winning throughout the state. It realize it's a gamble, but REALLY? How can the majority of the winning tickets always be bought in eastern NC?NC Lottery
We hear variations on your comment/question from players in every part of the state, big and small. It's not easier to win the lottery east of where you live, there are just more people playing for a chance to win. If you tell us what county you're in, we'll be glad to provide a comparison.

Hi, are your second chance drawing real? Can they be viewed via internet? I know it's all just luck, but reviewing how often I submit tickets and nothing, and you don't see the winners just names on your site so I was wondering how real this was, because it's very time consuming entering these tickets.
