Claim deadline for 16 games coming March 20

We just wanted to give you a quick reminder that a deadline to make claims for 16 instant scratch-off games is Thursday, March 20. Ticket sales for the games listed below ended on Dec. 9, 2013.

Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date.

Claims under $600 can be made at a lottery retailer before midnight on Thursday. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end of game date and postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Just to be clear, the games mention in this blog ended back in December, and yes the claim deadline for these games passed on March 20.

yea I take my time too and get a lot of points on the second chance drawings too hadn't won nothing in years and the second chance drawing for the cash 5 is always places heck I never even heard of wish it would be closer to home on these second chance drawings would be nice to see some closer to home sometimes

How are the winners on this lucke site chosen? I guess some are just luckier than others. I have been playing on this site for 2 years and just can't seem to win. Lucke-Rewards drawings are conducted using a random number generator, under the supervision of an auditor, according to specific security procedures. Having just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win; more entries give you more chances. Good luck!

about your announcement 19 instant games to end on mar28, what about all the prizes still available on these games, the 100,000.00 monopoly still has 3- 1 million tickets out there along with over 5 million other available prizes, you dont give players a chance to win before you take games out of storesNC Lottery
How many top prizes remain in a game is only one factor when a lottery decides whether or not to end a game. The $10 MONOPOLY game has declined in popularity, and we have a new $10 game coming out soon, so its time to make room for the new game :-)

Once you've successfully entered a ticket for Lucke-Rewards points, as far as the lottery is concerned, you don't need the physical ticket anymore :-)

It doesn't matter where you live when it comes to your chances of winning a prize playing the lottery. Lucke-Rewards drawing results are completely random, there is no decision about who should win. That's the only way the lottery can operate fairly to everyone!

The way lotteries work in North Carolina and everywhere else is that most tickets are non-winning tickets. That's what makes it possible to win $100, $1,000, $10,000, $100,000, $1 million or more playing a game... that's where the prize money comes from. Congrats Mr Summerlin, You do have the luck of the Irish.” Win 2 times and I can't even win the BIG one one time! Even people who claim that they have only bought their first ticket ever and win! I have bought so many scratch tickets! I have won 250 in 2011 and 200 dollars this year. Won a hundred dollars on Powerball in 2010, and won 150 dollars on Mega Millions 2012!
