New Caesars® game features 20 luxury trips to Las Vegas

Back in 1963, Elvis Presley recorded "Viva Las Vegas" - a song that became an anthem for the bright lights and glamour of the city itself. Starting Tuesday, we're excited to offer players the chance to experience what Elvis sang about first-hand.

A new Caesars®-themed lottery game starting Tuesday gives players 20 chances to win a luxury trip to one of the most renowned casino resorts in Las Vegas. The game, called Caesars®, begins with four top prizes of $150,000 and more than $11.5 million in prizes.

The Las Vegas trip includes airfare for two and four night’s accommodations at Caesars Palace, transportation to and from the airport and $1,250 in spending money. Ten trips will be won instantly and 10 will be won through a second-chance drawing. So, if you don't win instantly, make sure to enter your tickets here in the Lucke-Zone for another chance to win.

Want a chance to win big but don't want to take that flight to Nevada? The new $10 game Millionaire 7’s might be the one for you. It begins with 10 top prizes of $1 million and more than $70 million in total prizes.

For those of you who want to spend just a couple of bucks, the new $2 game Scoop The Cash begins with more than $4.9 million in total prizes and five top prizes of $25,000.

Last but not least, Double Doubler is a $1 game that starts with 10 top prizes of $4,000. The game starts with more than $3.8 million in total prizes.

I entered a Caesars second chance drawing entry and it came back with an error message "entry not recognized, please check numbers and try again" which i did over and over again. It's not a winner, so I can't see why it's rejected.NC Lottery

In the pick 3 why do we see the same numbers all the time. Maybe you need to wash to balls. The weight of the ball has a lot to do with how may times it will come out. Its like playing Bingo the players would come and help us wash the balls and make sure all the balls were in the box.NC Lottery
Different ball sets are chosen at random before every drawing. If any issue with a ball set is recognized by security or an external auditor, they can be sent to be weighed before being put back into use.

What time is the second chance drawings? How will you know you won? NC Lottery
Drawings are usually conducted by mid-afternoon. After the drawing is reviewed by lottery security and an outside auditor, we will use the contact information the winners provided when signing up for the Lucke-Zone to notify them of their prize. Per the rules, a player can win multiple trips via scratch-off, but only one time via second-chance drawing.

As a matter of fact I always check the website before contacting NCEL and as I've stated NEVER has my number come out. That just seems so strange but than again it's a game of luck. I was just curious how it NEVER not once came out. Thank you for responding to my question.

Pick 4 isn't done via a number generator but with ping pong balls in an automated draw machine. Each drawing has the exact same odds, 1 in 10,000 for an exact match. I too have been playing the pick 4 with the same numbers since it began and the number has never come out not once. Why is that? Is the number generator only set for certain numbers and why would it not be for all the numbers? Please explain this to me.

I understand that the 2ND chance games are a matter of luck and numbers, but I have put in over 150 entries on one game 80 on another and 60 on another and I havent won anything, how many entries are the winners putting in?

For anyone with concerns that big lottery prizes are only claimed in certain areas of the state, please visit the "News" section of our website. I have to totally agree with a comment above about the Lucke-zone winners I have seen the same name twice. I thought you can only win once. I have played and punched in codes forever and cannot win a thing..How many points do I need to punch in to at least be considered. What has been the highest code and the lowest code that has won..i'm curious?

There's no specific entry page. Just enter your non-winning Caesars tickets in the ticket entry page. You'll get your usual points plus an entry into the second-chance drawing for a trip to Las Vegas.

I buy scratch off every week and non winning tickets can be enter into Lucke-Rewards. Well my concerns are that once I check winning players I hardly ever see any winner from Charlotte it's always someone from surrounding areas. I think I am getting ready to stop buying tickets. The whole thing is not fair to all counties and not sure how they do drawing. I always pray that I would be one of those lucky winner. But still no LUCK!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

A Trip to Vegas would be awesome! But, like someone already stated. It is designed forfun but if you happened to win you should be able to get your money from any retailer up to the certain amount allowed by the Lottery Commission. Good luck to all.

Hey NCEL, How about a game where players can win a trip to the World Series of Poker which is at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas every summer? NC Lottery
We did a WSOP ticket a few years ago but it didn't quite have the staying power we had hoped for. We did have a player from Fort Bragg go to the WSOP tournament in 2010. He outlasted some pretty big names in the circuit, as well, placing 443rd and winning $31,647.

Playing the new Cash 5 I won with EZ play; only 2.00 however the retailer would not pay me because he said he did not understand how that ticket worked. Please help the retail persons understand that it is ok to pay instantly on a winning ticket. I will wait and go to another retail store to get my 2.00 tomorrow. I did not want to spend time teaching him about the new Cash 5 ticket. If it was more than 2.00 I may have tried to explain, 2.00 was not worth the effort. However, I would like a job with the lottery commission in Raleigh to go to retail locations and explain to the retail persons how this new ticket works; any openings? I think the roll out of this new Cash 5 ticket was a surprise to a number of retail locations.

I enter a lot of tickets haven't won anything yet can only hope this second chance is better for me I had 200 Super entries in Monopoly that was 4 of every ticket $10 the $5, $2 & $1. I've never seen or heard of anyone winning anything big around Salisbury NC and I know people that spend thousands and don't get half of it back. It's just a way to take. I've entered second chance to drawings hundreds if not thousands of times and haven't won anything

I generally don't play games when there is a prize other than cash. I don't want to pay the taxes if I win on a non cash prize. These types of prizes are generally valued at a much higher level than they would be if you or I bought the same item. And, therefore, the taxes you would be responsible for would be much more.

Can someone please tell me how to go about reporting a Grocery Store, that DOESN'T put New Games out as scheduled....I mean I am a little tired of it. Actually I think IF you cannot produce what's supposed to be there, when it is supposed to be there, why have the lottery????? Winning and non-winning tickets are distributed at random throughout the entire game. There are millions of tickets for each game, so its very possible to get multiple non-winning tickets, or more than one winning ticket, in a row.

Each entry made has the same chance of winning; the more entries you make, the more chances you have to win. The results of the drawings are random, conducted under the supervision of an auditor, according to specific security procedures.

ok winning a trip to vegas means less money prizes. it happens all the time. remember the monopoly games.they had to pull them because they knew that there were very few big winning tickets anywhere. i was ready to play this game until i read about the trip. i wont waste my money on this one either. go ahead and spend about 500h trying to win the big money but if you don't have it to spend use common scene.

3rd request, or maybe I have missed a reply---We know how many tickets WIN, but how many NON-WINNERS do you include in each game???NC Lottery
The answer involves doing a little math based on the information in the How To Play brochure :-) To find out how many total tickets are in a game, you multiply the odds of winning at any level by how many total prizes there are at that level. Then you just use the odds of winning at least a break even prize to figure out what percentage of tickets are winning and non-winning tickets.

just so the lottery knows, you cant get instant money from the stores around here. they'll only give you 50 dollars and a money order for the rest which you then get charged at the bank to cash. another way to gouge a winner.NC Lottery
We encourage retailers to cash prizes if they can. But if the store you are at can't or won't, try a grocery store. They are more likely to have the cash on hand. Or, you can visit or mail your claim to one of our regional claim centers.
