Powerball promotion winners mingle with the pros

From May 2-4, fourteen lucky North Carolina Powerball players attended a pro football fan’s experience of a lifetime. Each winner of the Powerball Pro Football Hall of Fame promotion received a five-day, four-night VIP trip to Cleveland, Ohio for the Ultimate Tailgate Party and Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 50th Anniversary Fan Festival.

“My wife and I had a tremendous time,” said Kirk Keller, one of the winners. “Everyone was very congenial and the whole trip was a lot of fun.”

On Friday night, winners were treated to an evening of fun games and dining alongside some of the biggest stars ever to play on the gridiron. Keller, a project manager in the banking industry in Raleigh, was accompanied by his wife.

“We sat at a table with John Randle of the Minnesota Vikings and he was great,” Keller said. “The tables right next to us had Michael Irvin of the Dallas Cowboys and Don Shula from the Miami Dolphins. Everyone was just a class-act. After we finished our meal, we got to play darts, pool and putt-putt with the players. I got to meet John Hannah and Dave Casper, who were two childhood idols of mine. Friday evening was definitely my favorite part of the trip.”

Throughout the weekend, winners received additional perks such as visiting the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

“We really enjoyed exploring everything there was to offer,” Keller said. “We even got to go to a few museums. Plus, the dining in downtown Cleveland was second to none. It was wonderful.”

Winners received $500 in spending money as well as a chance to win up to $1 million dollars by playing in a series of games.

“My group didn’t make it very far in the game, but we all got an extra $1,000 out of it,” Keller said. “All in all it was a great time for my wife and I. We loved spending time in Cleveland and hanging out with a who’s who of those that made the NFL what it is today.”

How often are there new drawings (like the summer sweeps for $20,000 or the nascar weekend tickets)? And can i get notifications when new ones come out, i was just guided to the link to finally use my points for entries after all this time lol NC Lottery

WOW what a memory yall lucky winners will have and that's y I play the lotto. I read these post and can't believe some the stuff people say its all for fun and a chance to make some money while having that fun, if u can't do exactly that I would play if I was you. If your lottery is so "transparent".. why not post the number of entries winners submitted.. also still want to know why the lottery decided that even winning tkts can be submitted in lucke zone entries..seems to me this is another way of snooze you loose mentality and is a way to cheat players that may have inadvertently overlooked a winning tkt.Thinking now that states offer online entries.. may decide to play lottery in another state that offers a more equitable game.. Yes.. I know I have that option!!!NC Lottery

I am starting to believe this has nothing to do with luck at all. I'm sure there are a lot of people who play and enter, but I would like to know what is considered a lot of entries for one drawing. I mean if I submit 300 entries for one drawing with 12 winners would that be a lot of entries? The more time one enters the better that person's chances right?

In the Rules on lucke zone g-9 says you can only win once Am I wasting my time buying tickets and I can only win one time please explainNC Lottery
The rules state you can win only once PER DRAWING. You are eligible to win in as many Lucke-Rewards drawings as you are "lucke" enough to win! :)

Yes, I know there is NO rule against winning in more than ONE drawing but what about the SAME GAME? Maybe that is where the confusion is coming in...Question.. If I won the $2500 weekly drawing this week and I still continue to enter points every week thereafter am I eligible to win again as long as the game is played or am I eliminated because I have already won once?

My question is....If lady luck just happens to strike again is a player allowed to win twice,etc in the same game...example...Is a player allowed to win twice, three times, etc in the $2500 weekly contest should he/she be so lucky?

i notice only 1 person won a second chance drawing in vance co. but every time i see places like raleigh , charlotte , salisbury , durham lexinton and most big city's when do some small towns get a shot of some lucky loot ?NC Lottery
Players from cities don't have a better chance to win than folks from small towns, there's just more of them entering for a chance to win. Everyone's entries are created equal!! :-D

You did not answer my question..April Showers gave away $2000 to 12 winners DIFFERENT WINNERS ALL FROM DIFFERENT CITIES..My question is once a WINNER is selected by the computer from a city,let's say Charlotte for example, does the computer now eliminate anyone else from Charlotte from winning one of the remaining 11 prizes? We don't eliminate any city from contention, so everyone has the same chance of winning in a drawing.

I have already asked this question and maybe you have responded but I can't remember which blog comments I used before...This is my question: When winners are randomly selected by the computer to for the Second Chance Rewards game can 2 or more people from the SAME CITY WIN? I have noticed that when I look at the winners in a particular game I have seen seen 2 or more people win from the same city. NC Lottery
Everyone has the same chances of winning in a drawing, regardless of where they live.

Random luck is random luck, it doesn't care what kind of job someone has. Anyone who makes an entry into a Lucke-Rewards drawing or second-chance promotion has a chance to win, and that's how it should be!
