May is “Motorsports Month” in North Carolina and the Education Lottery will join race fans from across the state at Charlotte Motor Speedway for two big weeks of racing.
The 10 days of racing begins Friday and one of big events that day will be the N.C. Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.
Other big racing events include:
- The NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race on Saturday.
- The History 300 race on Saturday, May 24.
- The Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday, May 25.
Twenty lucky lottery players are getting their tickets to the races through the lottery’s Lucke-Rewards drawings held in March.
Two winners are getting a VIP experience at the NCEL 200. One will serve as grand marshal of the race and the other as honorary starter. Each also received VISA gift cards, hotel accommodations on the night of the NCEL 200 and a ticket package to the NCEL 200 Camping World Truck Series race, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race, the History 300 race and the Sprint Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 race.
Eighteen more winners were randomly selected for a NASCAR race ticket package. Each received a pair of tickets to the four major races.
During the two race weekends, the lottery team will be stationed just outside of Charlotte Motor Speedway’s Avenue of Flags. Race fans can try their luck with lottery games, learn about the newest instant and draw games, and join in a “BUY, SPIN & WIN” promotion for a chance to win NCEL merchandise.
The lottery also partners with the Speed Street festival in downtown Charlotte during the weekend of May 22-24. Our team and trailer will be located near the intersection of East Third Street and South Tryon Street.
Good luck to all the NASCAR drivers with capturing a checkered flag at one of these four great races.
