More prizes, Las Vegas trips added to Caesars game

Thanks to the popularity of the lottery’s Caesars© scratch-off game that began in April, players are getting even more chances to win – including 20 trips to the iconic Las Vegas casino resort. A complete new set of prizes totaling more than $11.5 million is being added to the game.

That means that, besides the three top prizes of $150,000 that still remain from the original game, four more are in the mix. Plus, ten more trips to Las Vegas are up for grabs that can be won instantly – and ten more that will be awarded in three newly-added second-chance drawings. Check out the second-chance promotions page to see the complete entry period schedule.

The luxury trip for two includes airfare and four nights’ accommodations at Caesars Palace, transportation to and from the airport and $1,250 in spending money.

Remember, if you don’t win instantly on a Caesar’s ticket, you still have a chance to win a trip to Vegas by entering it here in the Lucke-Zone during a second-chance entry period. When you do that, you will gain entry into a Caesar’s second-chance drawing plus automatically receive points you can save and use to enter exclusive Lucke-Rewards drawings at no extra cost.

The four lucky Las Vegas trip winners from the first drawing, held May 7, have already been notified. Three more trips will be won in the second drawing on Wednesday, June 4. The current entry period ends May 31, so make sure to enter your tickets here before the clock strikes midnight on Saturday for your next chance to win.

Have you ever looked into the sky on a clear night somewhere out away from the city lights?? The amount of stars one can see there in the darker areas is uncountable. Now look at one point of light and remember it. Have someone with you then guess which one it was. Think they can??? Probably not! This is an example how extreme ones chances of winning in the big lotteries are. Fact: If one played the same pick four number every draw of everyday and those drawn were eliminated, and your number was the last one left, It would be over 13.6 years when that number is finally drawn!

again i ask why nc lottery can not say if they have a big win in cash five or mega or powerball why they will not say weather its a quick pick or not and were the winners are at, town or county not home addressNC Lottery

I think lottery should give out prizes on the hundreds and thousand range. it is so hard to win with any type of grand prizes, the ratio is so big. if they cut off some from the grand prize and spread it towards smaller prize then you could actually make the chance of winning betterNC Lottery
You are not wrong that a game could award more prizes that way. Generally speaking, games set up the way you're talking about are not as popular as games with really big top prizes though. So state lotteries typically go with the more traditional prize structure.

My concern is what is going on. When the lottery first started you could buy scratch off tickets and win every now and then. The odds of winning are printed on the back, with some being jut a breakeven prize. But now people are buying hundreds of dollars worth of tickets and are winnig nothing. Now if they were diffrent tickets I could somewhat undestand. But how is it a person can buy 17 $20 tickets in a row and win nothing. Or how is it that someone can buy 21 $5 tickets in a row and win nothing. Then that says to me that the information printed on the back of the tckets are incorrect and needs to be looked into.NC Lottery

I truly dislike the current promotion to the fullest. I request that monopoly or something as entertaining be brought back. Since monopoly games have ended I have seriously paused my purchasing of scratch off tickets. Although I seriously doubt the validity of "randomness" that is said to be convening lucke rewards drawings I played for the "chance" of an awesome prize. The current is not awesome at all. Another thought let's allow photos to be taken randomly of second chance winners so I can see an actual person. I may just be on a poor me mentality at the moment but I'm losing faith in the lottery and its a shame because I praise it enough that I have through action persuaded countless others to use their entertainment funds on the lottery as wellNC Lottery
Everything the lottery does is independently audited. It takes a lot of luck to win.

Actually the Pfafftown story did say "Three additional Pfafftown residents have claimed wins of $1 million or more playing lottery games. In February 2013, Rusty Hunter, a handyman, scratched off a $4 million prize in the $4,000,000 Gold Bullion game. Ray Whiteheart was one of three players to win $1.4 million in the October 2010 Cash Splash Millionaire Raffle. In February 2008, Adam Burton said he planned to “have a little fun” with the $1 million prize he won playing the Cash Spectacular game.

The latest Pfafftown winner bought his ticket some 50 miles away in Troutman, NC. Just happened he lived in P'twn. Guess the lottery knows where they are going to be so as to sell them the winning tickets when away from home!

To think the lottery is a conspiracy is to not understand the magnitude of tickets printed & sold. With scratchers one has to pick the right store at the right time on the right game to win. The winners are not spread out evenly over the state just waiting for someone's "turn". As for the on line games, the lottery does not choose who wins, WE have to choose the right numbers we THINK will be drawn at the next drawing. If I don't win then it is MY fault for not predicting the right numbers. I miss by one digit many times a week on pick four. I also study the digits and play the ones that are drawn the most and one or two other variables, but it is still LUCK, not a conspiracy against me! I have fun even when the digits don't win. LOL. I have concerns similiar to the poster buckfever. I recently read a story about a player that won 1 million playing the 4 million spectacular scratch off in the town of Pfafftown. NC and in the story it said that this is the 4th person to win 1 million or more in a town of approximately 10,000 people. It didn't specify if the other people all won their money of scratch offs or not, but that does seem like an insanely high number of people winning the lottery for such a small area considering the lottery is state wide. I'm not sure of what that actual stats on that happening are, but I would imagine it would be a really rare thing to happen. I'm not a conspiracy nut, but maybe there is something that is giving these smaller towns an overall advantage on getting top prize scratch off tickets. Something inadvertent like were they get their supply of lottery tickets from or the order in which they get them. I'm not saying that it is intentional, but perhaps it should be looked into.

the same stores always sell they the winning tickets.they say they dont know where the winning tickets go but thats bs because there is ten stores on the road i live on but 2 have the winners all the time how does that happend lol for 5 years straight.this comes from a person that spends 5 hund a week on this bs.hard work is suppose to pay pay offNC Lottery

The hot summer 2nd chance contest seems very flawed. Spend more $ but get no more entries per ticket then some one spending less $. Should it not be like the monopoly contest with $1, $2, and $5 drawings with different amounts of prizes? Is it too late to modify the hot 5 contest?NC Lottery
Keep in mind, you still get Lucke-Rewards points in different ranges based on different price points. The Hot Summer is an EXTRA extra chance to win :-)

Good question. The official rules state that: "Grand Prize winners are not eligible to win another Grand Prize during this Second-Chance Drawing Promotion"
