First Tuesday brings four new games

This First Tuesday brings a new lottery game that offers players five chances at a $150,000 prize. The $5 game, Golden 7’s, begins with more than $13 million in total prizes. Players who scratch off a “Blue 7” symbol win double the prize shown.

Three more games will show up in stores this week.

The first is sure to please players who enjoy our "extended play" style of games. Twisted Bingo, a $3 game, begins with more than $6.7 million in total prizes and five top prizes of $50,000. To win, just match the "caller's card" numbers in a full line horizontally, vertically, diagonally, in all four corners or in a diamond shape. Matching all numbers in the "twist" formation wins between $10 to $30 instantly. Players who match all numbers in the form of a complete “X” win a prize worth between $150 and $50,000.

Are you a fan of precious metals? Quick Silver! is a $2 game that starts with five top prizes of $30,000 and more than $5.7 million in total prizes. The game features more than $1.8 million in prizes from $20 to $100.

The new $1 game adds up to a lot of fun. A $1 game, 7-11-21 begins with more than 1.5 million winning tickets and 10 top prizes of $4,000. If all three of your numbers add up to 7,11 or 21, you win the prize shown instantly.

@denniskeith...you failed to do your research! When the second chance started it took a very long time for it to catch on, therefore you had better odds of winning. Congrats to you but no need for negative thoughts now. If I'm not mistaken there are now more than 300,000 second chance members. That's why your odds went down, not because you vented. Look at all the people who praise the lottery in this blog and see how many of them win!

WARNING BLOGGERS!!!!!...Be aware what you say here,,,I have paid the price of speaking how I feel. I won two second chance drawings when this first started. When they upped the prizes with money, I entered every game,EVERY GAME. Did not win.then I found this place vented my frustrations, i'm sure not to their liking. I have entered more since the frustration, still not won coincidence, I don't believe in that. They say a random number generator, but every game over several years...come on. We're publishing your comment because this kind of accusation has no basis in fact. You are in fact much luckier than most Lucke-Zone members who have not won a prize in one drawing, let alone two. We can assure you that one of your entries has no better or worse chance of winning a prize than anyone elses. Keep in mind there are MANY more Lucke-Zone members now than there were when the Lucke-Rewards program began.

No. Players have 90 days after an game is officially ended to claim any prizes in that game. The 90-day period for Game #299 Junior Big Ol' Bucks ended on June 26th. So claims deadline has passed. Wow, if your gonna complain about not winning then quit putting in for second chance drawings. That way people like myself who are just happy with another chance can up our odds! I play when I can afford to, haven't won anything in second chance but I'm not complaining and will continue to enter all our non winning tickets. Thanks NCEL.

I know you say everyone has the same chance of winning but I want to know why is there more winners in a different part of the state? I don't ever see anything about people in the Eastern part of the state winning like all the winning tickets are distributed in the areas around Raleigh. NC Lottery

We all have waited for some kind of luck to come our way playing the lottery. After waiting and playing 528 for several years and to see 825 fall, I thought about all the money I put into NC lottery was really nothing but a donation. I had decided awhile back not to play 528 any longer. A friend at work came up and told me that 825 played. I was never gonna get back the hundreds of dollars I put into one number. This has happen to me with all my numbers but this was the last one left. Now I can walk away because if it takes this may years of waiting for a number, then I am not lucky.

Yes, I agree with Scorpionking....why not distribute the $25,000.00 prize, instead, like the player said, let $10,000, then three $5,000.00 so to give more incentive to the players. Anyway, we all play to win and have fun, why not give us more chances than just one player take all the $25,000.00 Like last December,2013 if the $25,000.00 were distributed, everybody would have a very merry happy christmas season....just a good thought....please think it over and discuss with the management of the NCEL...thank you....

All instant games are subject to multiple audits. After being printed, an instant game undergoes an internal audit by the vendor. Before a game is delivered to the NCEL, the North Carolina law requires an audit by an independent Certified Public Accounting firm. Additional internal audits are conducted before and after the game ends.

i been playing second chance drawing sense it started and only won a fifty dollar gift card and that's when it first started.ihave spent so much money in these drawing to get nothing.i have brought so many twenty dollar scratch off card and ten dollar cards I know I spent way over thousand dollar or more in these games and cant even win the grill set.check out my account and u will see how much money I have spent in ur games.i just cant win.

Subscription is completely separate from Lucke-Rewards. You don't have to have a web-based subscription in order to participate in Lucke-Rewards drawings. And yes you can enter the drawings for a chance to win, the results are random :-)

some stores have their bins full because we are told to and customers get mad u cant just pull them out and put new ones in im a manager for big chains we can't pull them out they have to sell we try to get in soon as possible we have to do comformation, put in our computer and on a card sheet log

Lucke-Rewards drawings are conducted using a random number generator, under the supervision of an auditor, according to specific security procedures. The more entries you make, the more chances you have to win. But, thanks to random chance, having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win :-)

Where a winning ticket shows up is a matter of random distribution. It's not easier to win a prize at a store that sells lots of tickets, it just means more chances are being taken to win there.

with all the wait for the first Tuesday tickets, why are there so FEW winnings on the high end. come on in some cases less then 200tks state wide for some of the high end game and you are talking about the entire state(millions of people) just think about the odds? i think i will stick with the old games where the odds are better. i hope next month games will give people the thought of trying to win. less then a hundred tickets state wide for money less then 500dls. Lucky-Rewards/Lucky-Zone.... When will NCEL offer more tiered level prizes for second chance drawings. Case & point: Celebrate this month with a BANG! One (1) winner will win $25,000 in our July drawing. Instead of one winner at $25,000, why not lets say 4 winners, first place $10,000, and the remaining 3 at $5,000. Please get creative with your second chance prize distribution. You have have well over 100,000 plus entries through L-Zone. A survey should be done to get players feed back.NC Lottery

I see the new games advertised all the time for the first Tuesday of every month. The problem is when you go to the stores the employees say we cant put those out until the others are sold. How can this problem be solved? 5 out of 6 stores that I visit have this problem. NC Lottery
