Many of our players use their non-winning tickets to acquire points and use them to enter our Lucke-Rewards drawings. We’d like to take this time to address a few frequently asked questions:
Q: How do you contact the winners of second-chance drawings?
A: We use the contact information (email/address/phone) provided by you in your Lucke-Zone profile. If the information is not up-to-date and you win a prize, we may not be able to contact you. An alternate winner may be chosen after 30 days pass since our first attempt to make contact via email.
To ensure your contact information is accurate, click on your username at the top of the page to visit the “My Account” area (next to Help/Logout) or visit https://www.lucke-zone.com/MyAccount.aspx.
Q: I know I posted a question on the blog, but now I can’t find it. Can you help me find it?
A: While you’re in the “My Account” section of the website, it would be a great time to change your Display Name. Many members now have the default display name “Player”, which makes it difficult to answer questions or address your issues. Choose a display name that you’d like people to see when you comment or ask questions on blog posts.
If you have your own Display Name, you can go to the blog in question and do a keyword search (Ctrl F on a PC) and type in the display name to find your comment.
Q: What’s the average number of entries in each Lucke-Rewards drawing?
A: As we’re constantly holding drawings throughout the month, the average number of entries per drawing varies based on the prize and the number of points per entry. It’s important to keep in mind that as of June 2014, we have more than 300,000 active members entering in tickets and using their points.
Q: Why haven’t the winners been posted on a particular drawing?
A: Just like any other lottery prize, winners must come to their local lottery office to claim in-person. After winners are notified via the contact information they provided in their My Account profile, they should visit their local claim center to provide proof of identity and fill out a claim form. Prizes valued at $100,000 or more must be claimed at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh.
After the winner’s claim goes through, the name can be posted on the Lucke-Zone at https://rewards.lucke-zone.com/drawings.
Q: What do I do if the website won’t let me enter my tickets or I’m locked out of my account?
A: Many questions regarding your account are answered in the “Help” section of the Lucke-Zone. Click on the “Help” link at the top of the page next to your username or by pointing your browser to https://www.lucke-zone.com/Help.aspx.
