Thirteen instant games ending this month

Thirteen instant scratch-off games ended on Sept. 5. The games are Mega Bucks (re-ordered), Maximum Green, $200,000 Extreme Cash, $40,000 Bankroll, Carolina Limited, Cold Hard Cash, Triple The Money, Gold Coins, Lucky Clover, Gold Bar Bingo, Rapid Refund, Double Doubler and Red Line Crossword Tripler.

Players have 90 days from the announced end date to claim their prizes. For the games listed above, all prizes must be claimed on or before Dec. 4, 2014. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date and postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Check your tickets carefully and make sure you're not overlooking something. We'd hate to see anyone miss out on a big prize.

roughly 3,000 points used each and every month since the second chance started.80,000 all together..still waiting on that e-mail or phone call..maybe next month

GRADY: What you're describing is not how it works. It's not easier to win the lottery in a big place than it is a small one, there are simply more people taking a chance to win in a place where more people live. Just ask someone from Raleigh, Fayetteville or Charlotte. Name any rural county and we'll be glad to show you a comparison of how much prize money is won as a proportion of sales and you will see that, over time, that number tends to be even across the state.

Having played the lottery from day 1 and never winning anything,I'm inclined to agree with so many other players that the majority of winners are from Raleigh and points east,some in Charlotte and a few around Asheville.It is political as is everything to do with money.The lottery commission strategically places the major winning tickets in areas where the politicians voted over whelmingly for the lottery.They're comment is that it's just a chance drawing but yet nobody in rural counties in the center of the state rarely win.All anyone has to do is look at where the money goes,Raleigh,Fayetteville,Charlotte etc and then look at which politicians voted and lobbied for the lottery.Spread it around and make it fair for all.

Sometimes it takes a while for a winner's information to be posted. After winners are notified via the contact information they provided in their My Account profile, they should visit their local claim center to provide proof of identity and fill out a claim form. Prizes valued at $100,000 or more must be claimed at NCEL headquarters in Raleigh. After the winner’s claim goes through, the name can be posted on the Lucke-Zone at https://rewards.lucke-zone.com/drawings. Thanks for the question!

No problem! Enter your non-winning tickets in the "Ticket Entry" area under the Lucke Rewards tab to get points, then click on the "Drawings" tab to use those points to enter drawings. Best of luck!

Depends on the game. You can get a How to Play brochure for instant games at stores or on our website and look at the different ways to win. You can also have your ticket scanned at a retailer to find out if you are a winner.
