Check those tickets! 13 games are ending

Thirteen instant games will end on Friday, Dec. 4, including one that provided “Trucks & Bucks” and another that sent North Carolinians to Las Vegas for chances to compete on the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ TV game show.

Yes, our Trucks & Bucks game and the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB scratch-off are two of the 13 games that will end. The others are: Triple Fortune, Hit $500, $200,000 Jackpot, $50,000 Jackpot, Lucky 7’s Slingo, $5,000 Fiesta, Emerald 7’s, $50 Mayhem, Blackout Bingo, Double Match, and Lucky 13.

After Dec. 4, they will no longer be for sale.

You have 90 days from the announced end date to claim a prizes. For the games listed above, all prizes must be claimed on or before March 3, 2016. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at lottery headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims that must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Check your tickets carefully and make sure you're not overlooking some prizes. We'd hate to see anyone miss out on a big win.

Only 162 winners won a total of $15,693 for the whole state of NC on the pick 4 on 11/22/2015 day draw, come on man what up with that?NC Lottery
If more players had played the winning numbers for that drawing, the prize payout would have been larger! :)

So when you buy a scratcher, you can just scratch off the bottom, where the bar code is, then Let the store clerk scan it, and that will tell you if you are a winner or not by scanning the bar code only? I find a lot of tickets with the bar code scratch off only!

I think the federal government should investigate the Nc lottery because of the payouts for tickets.Its the biggest ripoff that's ever been. They outlaw poker and Internet sweepstakes,for the lottery.Ive won way more money on the sweepstakes.This is how our state runs things more money in there pockets and lottery officials. It's time for the people to stand up and get it closed down

WHEN IS THE DAY COMING ALONE THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO SCAN EACH TICKET, NAMELY PICK 3, CASH 5 AND OTHERS OF THIS TYPE TO DETERMINE WHICH TICKETS WE HOLD WITH A PAYOUT AND HOW MUCH. THIS WILL ASSIST WITH THE LONG LINES AND WAITING TIME FOR CUSTOMERS AND CASHIERS. I HAVE SEEN A CUSTOMER REASON PURCHASE TWENTY TO THIRTY TICKETS EACH NIGHT. FOR SOME REASON NEVER PRECHECKED HIS TICKETS. HW WOULD BRING ALL BACK THE NEXT NIGHT FOR THE CASHIER TO CHECK THEM, PAY HIM OFF AND HE WOULD PROVIDE OF NEW NUMBERS HE EAS PLAYING. THIS TAKES UP A GREAT DEAL OF TIME AND RESULT IN MANY OF THE LATE COMERS FROM MAKING THE TIME CUTOFF. IT IS A REALLY A BAD FELLING TO HAVE YOUR CARDS FILLED OUT AND THE CASHIER SAYS LOTTERY IS CLOSED. ESPECIALLY YOU LEARN THE NEXT DAY YOU HAD ONE OF THE WINNING NUMBERS

Never seen so many non winning tickets in my life. The NC Lottery is one Big Joke, Save your money people.Saw a lady buy 9 tickets in a row and not one winner.$5.00 X9 =$45 for nothing.Not even a money back ticket and you call that fun.Nothing fun about the Lottery just a Big Joke.

Good question. Lottery retailers can pay prizes up to $599. There is no limit on how many prizes they pay in a day, but players could find times in a day when small stores don't have enough cash in their register to pay. They can issue a check or money order when that happens.

u have it so u can scan the tickets in with a phone why cant u make where u can use a scanner and scan them in on an home computer. NC Lottery

I was very fortunate to find a store today that had a book of the monopoly tickets under the counter. Why I don't know. Any way, after all was said and done I won $265 and I guess/hope I will have a bunch more entries in this last drawing! I can't wait to say I'm going to Vegas baby!

I have a friend who is a truck driver and he says North Carolina is the worst out of all 50 states for payouts. Nothing ever seems to win you have to buy 100 tickets just to win 20% of your money back. The North Carolina Education Lottery stinks!!!! Robbers go to jail but you guys get away with it. Perhaps your friend has been luckier in other states than in North Carolina. The odds that are published are accurate and we share those odds in all kinds of places because when you play the lottery you are playing a game of chance.

When instant games end, the tickets are picked up from stores. There are very few if any still available, and no more will be for sale after the Dec. 4 end of games deadline.

If the Monoply Millionaires Club tickets are not going to be continued, does that mean that North Carolina is not going to participate in future second chance drawings. I was fortunate to have been selected in the Sept 2015 group that was sent to Las Vegas. While there I was informed that the game show was going to continue for the next couple of years.NC Lottery

Please give us an idea when you will do the first ultimate millions drawing....it's been 3 months now that they have been on sale...at this rate it will take over a year for the 3 drawings to take placeNC Lottery
Ultimate Millions is a huge game. When it began, it was expected to be on sale for as long as three years. As soon as we are told when the first drawing is scheduled, we'll share that with you and everyone else.

If monopoly millionaires is ending how do we get entries in for the T.V. show.NC Lottery
The entry deadline for the final drawing is Dec. 13. But as you read the game is ending. There are very few, if any MMC tickets still for sale out there and after Dec. 4 there won't be anymore for sale anywhere. So it's just a matter of folks who have tickets entering them before the deadline.

I have a question for a seasoned NC scratch off player. For my birthday I bought 300 $1.00 holiday scratch offs. I won 78.00 total. Is this normal for NC scratch offs. I just recently relocated here from FL and it just seems like there is no pay outs here?NC Lottery
About 20% tickets for a $1 game pays back at least $1 or more. You won about 25% of your money back, which isn't a big shock. We recommend buying a ticket here and there when you feel lucky as opposed to a whole roll of tickets. Sometimes it only takes one to win a big prize :-) Good luck to you!

Most of the 13 tickets that are ending in December never hardly won anything anyway. Where are all the winners these days? For weeks nothing has won in Cabarrus County. I buy tickets daily along with my friends and nobody is having any luck! NCEL, you are so predictable with your tickets. Games are no fun anymore. Never any surprises. I have given up hope of ever winning any big prizes. Cant even win small prizes in this lottery!
