Lucky Pick 3, Cash 5, Powerball players snare big prizes

Wednesday night was an exciting one for players who saw their numbers come up in the evening drawings.

A Powerball player looking to hit the jackpot matched four out of five white balls and red Powerball and, because the ticket was Power Played and the multiplier was 4X, won $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at Lowe’s Foods on 29th Avenue Northeast in Hickory. The numbers were 2-12-17-20-65 for the white balls and 17 for the Powerball.

A single ticket purchased in Edgecombe County hit the $121,142 Cash 5 jackpot. The ticket was sold at Sal’s Korner on East Hamlet Street in Pinetops. The winning numbers were 5-10-25-30-33.

The Pick 3 combination 9-1-0 paid out more than $257,000 to more than 2,000 winners.

Folks who won prizes have 180 days to claim their winnings. Good luck to everyone going for a chance to win in today’s drawings.

The prize money you could win comes from non-winning tickets.
