Brunswick County man wins share of $157,548 Cash 5 jackpot

Ronald Pezzote of Winnabow had one of three Carolina Cash 5 tickets to split the jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing, making his share worth $52,524.

Pezzote, who is self-employed, collected his winnings at the same place he bought his lucky ticket: The lottery’s Wilmington claim center. There, he said that it felt “awesome” when he realized he won and hinted that his prize money might mean a trip to Disney World.

The other tickets to win shares of the jackpot Wednesday night were sold at The Handy Corner on Webb Avenue in Burlington and at the Rite Aid on Raeford Road in Fayetteville. Winners have 180 days from the date of a drawing to claim prizes.

Just purchased some draw tickets, played for two days 2-252-26,put in the lucke -rewards codes. Now can I put the cods in again for the 26th.,or should I purchased separate tickets to get more points. Please reply. Thank you.NC Lottery
The range of rewards points your ticket is worth depends on the ticket price. Draw tickets will be worth between one and five times the ticket price in reward points. For example, $1 draw tickets are worth between 1 and 5 reward points and $5 draw tickets are worth between 5 and 25 reward points.

The winners of Lucke-Rewards drawings can only be posted once a winner has claimed his or her prize. Until then they are not officially a winner.

Hey,Turbo I actually won $150 of two tickets at the claims center while waiting for my check for the Jumbo Bucks ticket I won a $1000 on. So yeah it does happen :)

Congrats to you Mr Alex Walls of Laurinburg,NC! You purchased your lucky $10 ticket on Feb. 14 at the Starflite Convenience Store on East Hamlet Avenue in Hamlet, NC!!
