Ten instant games ending in March

The NCEL is announcing the end of 10 instant scratch-off games. The games, listed below, end effective Friday, March 6.

The games are $250,000 Cash Money, Papa Johns, $10,000 Jackpot, Lucky Spot!, Triple 7's, Jingle Bucks, Jolly Jingle Bucks, Jingle Bingo Bucks, Jumbo Jingle Bucks and Millionaire Jingle Bucks.

Players have 90 days from the announced end date to claim their prizes. For the games listed above, all prizes must be claimed on or before June. 4, 2015. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date and postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Check your tickets carefully and make sure you're not overlooking something. We'd hate to see anyone miss out on a big prize.

So putting all tickets is a good thing now! But there is a "Big Problem" It does not "Recognize" If the ticket is a winning ticket or not for you! Before the system would tell me, 'that it does not recognize the number, & need to check it again! In other words, If I have a winning card now the system does not let me know one way or not! This only worked on scratch cards. What I am asking is, let the system tell us if we have a winning card in hand, Cause it's easy to over look a winning card when we all looking at numbers! ""Does Everybody Agree?""

they was so quite about entering winning tickets...i still would not know if did not happen to look at the ticket on top and see a winner AFTER i had entered it.you should at least give us a message ,congrats,or something that lets us know we just entered a winner

do lucke zone care where I get my ticket? I get my second chance ticket the best way I can from other people ,trash cane, on the ground, buy a lot. a vendor told me he was told by someone in your orgination not to give none winning scratch off ticket to people to put on second chance is this true?NC Lottery
If a ticket has been thrown away, it's "finders keepers" and you can enter it for points. Retailers have been trained since 2006 to keep winning scratch-off tickets, so it is our advice to enter a winning ticket for points before claiming a prize.

Since winning tickets can now be entered, is there going to be an popup status that lets you know its a winning ticket. That's how I check a lot of my winning tickets by lucke zone not accepting them and it gives me a chance to double check to see if it is a winning ticket. if both winning and loosing tickets are accepted I might be throwing away money.NC Lottery
The system is not designed to flag for winning/non-winning, only eligible/ineligible. Now as long as it is within the claim deadline, all lottery tickets are eligible for points. Please make sure if you have a winning ticket or not before discarding it!

I need to know how does the second chance entry work I entered into the 500 dollar contest I had 479 entries and still no win what is really going on that was over 4,000 points, I've been doing this since last yr and still no win matter of fact no one has ever won from Goldsboro nc it's not fairNC Lottery
Every entry you make has the same chance of winning as anyone else's and the more you enter the more chances you have to win. But it is a random drawing, so there's never a guarantee of winning. Having even just one entry in a drawing gives you a chance to win; and folks in Goldsboro have no better or worse chance of winning than anyone else :-) Good luck!

that was a god response ncel I myself love to play but havnt bought a scratch off in weeks cause I havnt found a winner in a while and cant afford to keep spending a lot of money on them but will play again getting aol tickets only 2 bucks lol

I agree with both sides, I took a break from playing because I was not winning. My problem is I think that their are fewer winning in a Book than before. I always buy at least 5 Tickets in a Row. Lately, I have been getting Nothing, there was a time when I bought 5 Tickets, at least 2 of the 5 would be winners. Not anymore. The newer tickets to me appear to have the least winners. I do better with the older tickets. I always buy 5 of the New tickets when they lst come out to see if I can hit the Big one like the Teacher in little Washington did that time. Now that was Lucky!!!!

I am curious as to how the drawings are picked. Is it by the number of entries or computer picked or how exactly?? For the lucke-zone drawingsNC Lottery
They are random drawings done using a random number generator, under the supervision of an auditor, according to specific security procedures. Every entry has the same chance of winning a prize; the more entries you make, the more chances you have to win

So around my area, ALL of these are still being sold daily, how long do I have to enter them for points? And the new black stripe for scanning on the paper tickets, when will we be able to use it to enter those tickets? How long before the app is ready for us to be able to use em? Thanks. You can enter them for points until the claims deadline at 5pm on June 4 :) As for the barcode and app, all we can say for now is stay tuned! ;-)

I know lotto adm. reads about 90% of people venting bc they lost, its a scam, etc. I know it can be very frusterating at times. But some of the adm. comments are very derragoritory, or plain and dumb founded. Its a job and you cant take everything so personal. Just close your eyes take a breath move on to next. Alot of these people dont have a job and they use there only dollar to try to win. So i can feel there frusteration. But thats no reason to comment or answer there questions like some do. Your already taking there money, Not making to many winings, then dog there frusteration. My god come on.NC Lottery
