At $740,000, Cash 5 jackpot largest in over a year

The Carolina Cash 5 jackpot rolled Wednesday night for a 10th straight drawing, making Thursday’s $740,000 jackpot the largest since January of last year.

The last time the jackpot was at least this big – Jan. 24 of 2014 – three lucky tickets split the $792,045 jackpot. Players from Salisbury, Lexington and Mooresville each won a $264,015 share.

So people who live in south carolina can have a north carolina lucke zone account? I'm just confused a little bit b/c i thought this was for just North Carolina. They would have to have a lucke zone account right? to win weekly drawings i mean? ppl from south carolina? NC Lottery
That is correct. Players outside the the N.C. border can have a Lucke-Zone account, but they can't play our subscription games.

Well, I have been locked out of submitting my second chance drawing because of a few errors or typepo mistakes. This I don,t understanding.. can anyone give me some insight on this. NC Lottery
The best way to get help is to call our Lucke-Zone hotline at 855-767-1863. They should be able to address any issues you're having.

About the only thing I can think of right this minute, is when am I going to win. I am in Whiteville, NC and I never hear of anyone winning any of the BIG money in this area. So, how about someone giving some of us down here a chance, Ha ha.....NC Lottery

So...I was wondering if there are any plans to get our "ticket checker" system back..or will it ever tell us if we have won when we enter them? ..just curious...thxNC Lottery
We've had many players ask this question. We learned that many players were using the Lucke-Rewards ticket entry system as a way to check their tickets, but that isn't what the system was designed to do - only to see if a ticket was eligible or not. Now that winning instant tickets are eligible, the system accepts all eligible tickets. At some point a feature that flags potentially winning tickets could be added.
