Two Powerball tickets in our state won big in Wednesday’s drawing – including one worth $1 million.
The lucky ticket, sold at the Piggly Wiggly on Northeast Boulevard in Clinton, matched all five white balls drawn. The other ticket matched four white balls and the red Powerball to win $10,000. It was sold at Wilco #391 on Market Street in Wilmington.
The winning numbers were 1-12-28-35-44 for the white balls and 25 for the Powerball.
Saturday's Powerball jackpot annuity is $138 million ($86.3 million cash). At a $194 million annuity ($117 million cash), Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is even bigger.
