Before we look back at who won the biggest prizes of the week, let’s take a moment to run down the size of this weekend’s jackpots.

Ahead of Friday’s Mega Millions drawing, the jackpot annuity stands at $233 million ($143.1 million cash). Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is a $171 million annuity ($107.1 million cash). And Cash 5 players are taking aim at a $256,000 jackpot Friday night that could be won or grow larger.

A couple from Tega Cay, S.C. says they’re going to use their $1 million in prize money to enjoy the Hawaiian honeymoon they never took when they were married 18 years ago. Brady and Antonia Coats won on a lucky 50X The Cash ticket they bought in Charlotte.

Two Carolina Cash 5 winners collected their jackpot winnings this week. Wilmington resident Adraine Dixon-Wilkins says she wants to buy a new SUV after winning $221,306 in the May 19 drawing. Willie Tabron of Louisburg won $90,769 in the May 22 drawing.

Four players scratched off $50,000 prizes:

- Gerald McDermott of Cary (Blackout Bingo)
- Timothy Fraunfelder of Hubert (Junior Big Ol’ Bucks)
- Rachel Knox Price of Mooresville (Super Loteria)
- Raymond Smith of Newport (50X The Cash)

Six more won $10,000 instantly:

- David Samz of Arden (50X The Cash)
- Sheryl Hagler of Concord (100X the Cash)
- Keith Dula of Hickory ($4,000,000 Multiplier Spectacular)
- Bernadine Acedo of Knightdale (100X The Cash)
- Gerald Goodgame Matthews ($5,000 a Week for Life!)
- Catherine Davis of Winston-Salem ($200 Million Blowout)

In all, players won more than $20.5 million in prizes this week.

Until next time, have a fun and safe weekend. See you soon here in the Lucke-Zone.

When I was playing the lottery, I did buy a few of the all or nothing tickets! Won 50 dollars on it! A few more times playing it, I finally stopped, wasn't winning anymore on it! Now with the Cash 5 EZ match, won a couple bucks here or there I won! So I stopped it also! PB, MM and Cash 5, I played every drawing! Won here and there small amounts only! Now I need all that extra money now, wife has not found a job, and my disability check covers the bills, with just a little left over to last hopefully until my next pay in the middle of June. I thought a lottery win, would save us! But don't count on winning that! Luck is the only way to win lottery, and if it's not on your side, you are not winning at all! Yea, scratch offs are good if you can find a winner! but still losing more, before you might get lucky and win the big one! I had to quit playing lottery, for financial reasons. Maybe will start back one day soon! Spend wisely!

Well I hate to tell all of the sore losers but I use to feel the same way until 1 day I just happen to purchase (1) $10.00 scratchoff & I be d#$*.... oops it was a for $50,000. So its real when god is ready to deliver he will & "HAPPY SCRATCHING"

E-Z Match and All or Nothing are NC Education Lottery worst games. I never win ANYTHING on those games, however I'm obsessed with playing them. The most I've won is $20 on all or nothing and $10 on e-z match #WhatInTheWorld. I have even played them in different cities and different stores with all having the same outcome, nothing. Now all the money going into lottery, there should frequent big winners on that game. Lastly, all or nothing need a live drawing just like the rest. It seems rigged! I need a good win.

Wow, tell us how many top prize winners have won the "All or Nothing" scam...If you play against a "random number picker" you will, without a doubt,LOSE.NC Lottery
We've had winners from Brunswick, Moore, Onslow and Rowan counties beat the odds to win the top prize of $250,000 playing All or Nothing. The game is popular with some players because it offers better odds of winning some prize money back plus a chance to win a large top prize, for $2 per play. If it's not your cup of tea, we understand! Good luck to you!

The State wants to keep all the money its worse than a Casino at least they allow you to win occasionally. NC Lottery is either going to loosen up or shut down as people will not continue to throwing money in hole. NC Lottery
Our mission is to raise money for education in North Carolina. We allocate 62 percent of lottery revenues to prizes, the most prize money ever. Last year we paid out more than $1 billion in prizes. We hope folks can have fun and win prizes, while helping to raise money for a good cause.

Please do away with break even tickets .As define by Webster, a break even ticket is not a 'win '.

Monopoly is the worst game you have come out with. Local outlets give the buyer multiples of the same streets , railroads and properties. Distribution must be terrible or controlled. I have 6 of one street, 4 of one railroad and multiples of others but cannot complete the collection locally. Many outlets no longer carry this scratch off as they say it does not sell. NC Lottery
Certainly understand if game is not for you. If you want to find retailers who have tickets close to you, call Customer Service at (877) 962-7529. Folks who have won trips to Vegas for the game show report they had a great time.

No scratchoffs are winning for me. Unluckiest time of my life. Or could it be nobody else is winning much either? Print the tickets like you used to. Lottery is no fun when you can't win.

5/29/2015 09:57 - Randy E.

The easy match game is a joke and all or nothing has terrible odds also ,I have played both since they came out almost every day and never won over $10 but twice ,o don't play megamillions since they increased the numbers and decreased the odds of winning ,not a sore loser but the odds are terrible ,I buy at 3 different stores, same results and pick my numbers along with quick picks, thanks for letting me voice my opinion .

I'm ready to win the big bucks

congradulations to all winners!! (other players) how many "second chance entries" do you average a month? NC Lottery
Good question. In our Lucke-Rewards program, we average 1.7 million entries per month.
