‘Cash 5 EZ Double Days’ means EZ Match top prize doubles to $1,000

It might not be summer yet officially, but by the time June rolls around, it may as well be summertime in North Carolina. If you’re lucky, that means you might just get a chance to take it easy – maybe at a cookout or at the beach.

With that in mind, we’ve got a fun way for you to take it “EZ” starting June 1. And, if you’re lucky, you could win $1,000 instantly.

The promotion is called Cash 5 EZ Double Days. Through July 11, when you play Cash 5 with EZ Match for an additional $1, the top prize will be doubled – from $500 to $1,000!

Just wanted to say I live in Scotland County and have won many times. Maybe not cash 5,but scratch offs a few times. Recently ive had great success at all or nothing. Bagging 2 $500 prizes this year along with multiple 50 dollar wins. Remember not everyone wins big. Smaller prizes dont always make the news. I suggest picking a game and sticking with it.YOU WILL WIN at some point.

Yall never answer my questions. I'm with alot of other people on here. There is never any winners in Scotland county. I have never won more than 40 dollars. And that was 1 time. Most of the time. I might win what the card is worth m most of the winners come from the big towns like Charoolete Fayetteville r Raleigh areas. Even in the lucky draw second chance drawings r the same way. I think some players do not realize there are 100 counties in North Carolina.there are numerous stores in all of these counties in which tickets are sold. So, my point is..just how many (Big)winning tickets do you think are placed in each one of these stores throughout the 100 counties. As stated, it is a game of CHANCE. Winning and non-winning tickets are distributed at random throughout the entire printing run of each game. Nobody knows when or where a winning ticket will show up until it is scratched. That is the only way it is fair to all players.

There are three pre-tests for Carolina Cash 5. If any three of the same numbers appear in all three trials, a fourth test would be done. But that's never happened for Carolina Cash 5. You are welcome to come to see the entire drawing process!

Many people in the western part of the state have started playing either Tn. Lottery or Ga. Lottery. Most are like me, they don't spend a lot on tickets, but you do expect to win a little to keep playing. That is harder to do with the N.C. Lottery, here in WNC, than with bordering lotteries. I read a post explaining the percentage of tickets sold in eastern N.C. and the the percentage of winners for that area. It appears that the number of tickets sold in an area rusults in more winners. So, it makes sense that sparsely populated counties in the west would win less often. But we have heavily populated areas nearby in bordering states which allows us to do better there. So there are other people like myself that think the NCEL is not playing fair!!! I had forgotten my comment was about EZ double days but I read all the other comments today and I agree with Playerm-EZ match prizes are hardly over $20. I have played them consistently and have never seen any payout larger than that, boutlaw33-I've never won more than $6,luckless-20 bucks one time is the most I`ve won, and Player-I never heard of anybody winning more than 20$ yea think nc lottery might be setting people up.NC Lottery
During the Double Days promotion, EZ-Match pays out nearly 75% in prizes. For $1 per play, it takes 1,000 non-winning tickets to generate a $1,000 prize. So there are lots of other ways to win to make the overall odds of winning better :-)

The entry deadline for the final Bonus Bucks drawing was Wednesday, June 10 so no entry slips have been printed since then. The final drawing will be held on June 25.

Yes the NC lottery is rigged if you people don't know that than you are dumb I mean come on a guy from Raleigh wins 1 mill on scratch off a few years ago then his friend wins 3 or 4 million from a scratch of last year that's bowl it hard enough for one person to win a jackpot on a scratcher but his friend to you people need to realize the lottery people know where the big winners are going and they say they don't but research and you will see where lottery workers have been caught telling friends to go into the stores that have the big winner and buy it and they split it I used to spend at least $1000 a week for 8 years and never won over 500 and all I play most of the time is $20 tickets so now I might buy one a week so now I'm a big winner buy not buying them the lottery was better when the mofia ran it

Ifvu look most winners are around the Charlotte area. They know where to put the winning tickets. It's just like those gaming business.the state made them shut down so the lottery can make all the money.Many people go broke from this also,so I think they need to shut this down also.But they want because they are getting to many kickbacks from it.Somebody getting their pockets full from this.

If a store doesn’t have enough money in its cash register to pay a prize, they can decline to pay at that time and the ticket is returned to the player. Hey Turbo! I played cash5 everyday, 4 bucks a day everyday, 7 days a week! Played MM every TUE and FRI! Played 2 bucks on PB every WED and Sat. I thought cash 5 odds was better, so I played it more! I would get at least 10 tickets over a period of time collected on all of the cash5 bonus bucks drawing. No wins on it either! Wife lost job, flip us on the end! So had to stop to save money! I heard one of your lottery installers tell the owner of the store that the eazy match cash 5 was set to make more money for the lottery and retail store and to take from the player and I never heard of anybody winning more than 20$ yea think nc lottery might be setting people up NC Lottery

I won $500 and went back to the gas station that I brought the ticket and they refuse to cash it in. I was told they only cash in winner tickets of $1 to $100. They kept directing me to go to Foodlion. Yes, I was upset because I go to this gas station to purchase majority of my lottery tickets and to get turn away was very disappointing. I say if they can sell you the tickets they should be able to cash your tickets no matter what the value is. NC Lottery

Another way of thinking about it is that EZ Match typically pays out at 63% and, during Double Days, it pays out 75%! Good luck!

I got tired of playing ez match from not winning. When it first came out, I won some small amounts here and there but as time has gone on the winners seemed to get further and further apart until I just quit winning anything from it, maybe it was because less people where playing ez match than in the beginning.

I buy a weekly (7 day ticket) but I can only add one dollar and play EZ Match once. Of course I could make a daily trip and play the numbers but that is a pain. It would be nice to have an option to buy multiple play tickets with the EZ match option adding one dollar to each day or ($2) per ticket and getting an EZ match on each of the tickets and by having multiple plays greater than (5), you also qualify for the second chance. I like EZ play but only getting the opportunity to get one play every 7 days isn't a great option.

All lottery games are designed to pay out a certain amount. If all the EZ Match prizes were doubled without changing the amount of the wager, it wouldn't be a viable game; doubling the top prize is a fun way to remind folks about the game feature :-)

Remember $1,000 isn't the only prize that you can win via EZ Match. During the "Double Days" promotion, EZ Match pays out 75% overall. Ordinarily it is 63%. Good luck to everyone!

When you play in Scotland County, you have the same chance as any other player anywhere else of winning a prize. It's not easier to win the lottery depending on where you live, just ask anyone in a big city or a small town who's here on the Lucke-Zone... it takes luck! :)

We have regional offices in Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, and Greenville and a claims center in Wilmington. So we hope anyone who wins $1,000 with our new promotion won't have to travel too far to get their cash. Once you get there, we'll make it an instant a win as possible.
