Reidsville resident elated after winning $20,000 playing the lottery

It’s not hard to understand why Tammy Taylor was ecstatic after winning $20,000.

Taylor, a resident of Reidsville in Rockingham County said that winning the lottery felt “awesome, great, and wonderful.” She plans to use her prize money to purchase a new home.

Taylor purchased her lucky ticket for the $1,000,000 Jackpot game, at the I.H. Food Mart on U.S. Highway 29 Business in Reidsville. The game started last August. There are still two $1,000,000 prizes and two $100,000 prizes that have yet to be claimed.

What would you do if you were lucky enough scratch yourself into $20,000?

I build houses for a living i work in the exterior department. So I pretty much do everything to them I do roofing., trip work, decking, basically the whole house.

I can never find where to email comments to the Lottery office. Can someone please send the email to me? That said, I will use this spot. Why is the Powerball winnings set so low where it starts with hitting the PB for $4 but when you hit one number plus the PB which is 2 numbers it is still $4. The same for 2 balls plus PB. It is very hard to hit the numbers and the payout is not progressive matched with the difficulty of additional numbers. Please start with $5 followed by $10, $100, $500, etc. that matches difficulty.

why are the prizes for the all or nothing game so few 2 ,4 ,10 ,50, 500 makes no sense for a person to possibly get 11 numbers correct and only get 500 dollars when the top prize is 250,000 to mach all 12 the game is a rip off all r nothing win the big prize of get nothing

I hope someone can answer this for me about "Cash 5" EZmatch...the winning numbers for Wednesday 15,16,17,32,33....I matched (15)&(32)x2...ezmatch payout for those #s were 15-$10.00 and 32-$2.00 but my payout was only $3.00 shouldn't it have been $14?? The prizes remaining are all the unclaimed prizes. That includes tickets in stores and tickets that have not yet been distributed to stores, as well as any tickets that players have bought but haven't yet submitted for claim.
