Thursday's $344,000 Cash 5 jackpot largest in two months

At $344,000 for Thursday's drawing, Carolina Cash 5 players haven't seen a jackpot this big since before Memorial Day.

After being won in three consecutive drawings between July 14 and 16, the jackpot has rolled six times to grow to it's current size. If no ticket matches all five numbers drawn, based on past rolls when the jackpot is this big, it would likely increase by $100,000 or more.

We're looking forward to see what happens in tonight's drawing. In the meantime you can read the stories of many of our lucky Cash 5 jackpot winners from across the state.

In the May 2000 for 20points I had 138 entries which is 2760. I would like to see the winners names and entries.

This is the second post that has not been posted.I will still ask where are the winner in Winston-Salem?We need an answer.Don't think I am the only person that look at where the winner are.NC Lottery

WHEN will Winston-Salem have big winners in this second chance drawing?Just view the winners and Clemmons was the only winner for$1,000.NC Lottery
It's all just a matter of luck. An entry you make in Winston-Salem has just as good a chance of winning a prize as an entry made anywhere else in North Carolina.

One thing for sure, it doesn't take long for the cash5 jackpot to grow once it's rolled over for a few days. Good luck to us all. Can I wait till 2016 to claim my prize for tax purposes?NC Lottery
Yes. If you were to win tonight's drawing (and we wish you luck!) you would have until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 before the ticket expired :-D
