They say time flies when you’re having fun and, thanks to social media, the last six years have flown fast.
Back on Aug. 11, 2009, we tweeted for the first time. Since then we’ve shared loads of winner stories, broadcast jackpot updates and, of course, chatted with players and other folks from across the state.
We post things such as where big-winning tickets were sold:

And photos of lucky players like this:

It’s the same variety of information we post here in the Lucke-Zone blog. But since Twitter is a micro-blogging site, it allows us to share more often, in bite-size pieces. Whereas we might blog 3-4 times a week, we’re tweeting dozens of times. Sound interesting? Follow us @nclottery.
Like just about every other person and organization you know, we’re on Facebook too. The conversations there are often more active because, unlike Twitter, players can see all the comments in the same place at the same time. You’re invited to “like” our page and join the fun.
As always thanks for spending time with us here in the Lucke-Zone. Maybe we’ll see you on Twitter or Facebook soon.
