What is going on with these new scratch tickets,Extreme Millions,5million mega cash.These tickets has to be the worst tickets ever put out they are not worth the paper there printed on at least in SE,NC.The $2,$3,$5 have greater payouts that is very sad and unbeleiveable,I also purchased 18 mega cash tickets the highest win was $20 also purchased 10 extreme million tickets the highest payout was 30 dollars.guess all the good prizes are on the other side of I95 because there are 0% in SE,NC.

I have not heard any response to my inquiry, so I will just forget it and move on trying my luck. Hopefully I will get a bigger win next time. I just won $247.00 on the Cash 5 drawing Sept. 26.. How do you notify winners in the second chance games drawings? NC Lottery
We email winners first using the email address in their Lucke-Rewards account. If no claim is made, we then try to call and finally, if calls are not returned, we send a certified letter.

Not a very believable answer. Simply aren't selling anymore. THAT'S RIDICULOUS!! They both cost $10.00 Game #406 1,000,000 JACKPOT has higher top prizes with 84 high prizes left. Game #395 JUMBO BUCKS only has 17 high prizes left worth less. Why would someone pay the same money to win less money & fewer odds? Game #387 WHITE HOT 5's same thing-81 top prizes left, but you ended it also. It really seems crooked to me. People get tired of being cheated & are going to quit playing. So much for helping the schools. I'd like a better explanation for ending games.

We end some games too if they simply aren't selling anymore, but as soon as the last top prize is claimed we begin the process of ending the game. LOTTERY PLAYERS PLEASE READ THIS! Tell me if I'm wrong. I play the $10.00 & $20.00 tickets because your odds are actually better. Out of nowhere you end the game. My question is what constitutes when a game ends. Especially when there are a lot of prizes still left. EXAMPLE!!! #406-1,000,000 JACKPOT. It launched August 5, 2014 & ended Sept. 4,2015-13 months. There are still 717,133 prizes from $10.00 to $1,000,00 left. Yet Game #395-JUMBO BUCKS was launched Feb. 18,2014 and it's STILL ACTIVE-19 month. There are only 526,755 prizes left from $10.00 to $750,000. You have launched another JUMBO BUCKS GAME on August 4,2015-#463. How do you justify ending games that still have a lot of prizes left? I understand that it's a game of chance, but when you stack the deck against us, people are going to quit taking that chance & everybody losses, especially are school system which I think the Lottery has actually hurt. Your reply to my comment on the $30 ticket saying that I should be thankful for winning $40 on a multiple win ticket brings home the point that you are all do not understand your buying Consumer. UCI purchase for $30 tickets and one only $40. I dare to say that the average player purchase 4 or more tickets at a time. Inasmuch a break-even ticket is not a win for these indivisuals. As observed state- wide, these millions and millions breakeven tickets are making a whole lot of people angry. Also you replied that the North Carolina lottery is not like other states, why not.NC Lottery
You have to be lucky and beat the odds to win when you play games of chance. We would love if every ticket could be a winning ticket. But non-winning tickets is where the prize money comes from. We wish you good luck!

Just a question about game entries and drawings. I've been doing this for sometime now and I have always wondered why different drawings run in same sequence of numbers even though they are different drawings! For instance I enter weekly $2500.00 drawing and $5,000.00 monthly drawing but my entry # is only 1 to 3 digits off! Hard to understand why numbers are not separated for individual drawings just like scratch tickets have separate #'s.I know instant number gen- erators pick winners but what separates the the games so that machine can work properly? After computers are only as smart as the program.

Mr. Patel purchased the million dollar ticket from the store he owns. His store gets a percentage from the NCEL for selling the ticket. In addition Mr. Patel can or could have entered the winning ticket in the Ultimate Millions Second Chance drawing with the chance to win up to another million dollars. He is on a lucky streak and may win the second chance drawing also. This does not seem fair to other instant draw ticket players. The Second Chance drawings was originally create for players to enter non-winning tickets, giving them a "second chance" at winning a prize correct?

If that is so, why are teachers still being cut, assistants being cut and not enough money for the teachers to buy the necessary supplies to educate our youth properly? Don't that money get added back and be added to the jackpot for the cash 5 drawing for the one after the 180 days. That will be only fair if Noone claims it. If the money is not added back and yall pocket the money that is not fair to everyone that had bought tickets like me for that drawing and didn't win. Because someone didn't claim the prize. The lottery never "pockets" money. By law, unclaimed prizes are divided in two, 50% goes to education and 50% goes back into the prize pool. This lucky ticket was for a recent drawing so we would not be surprised to meet this winner sometime soon!

Correct me if I am wrong. When a big jackpot is won, The store where the ticket was sold wins also with a big bonus. I don't know if it a set amount or a percentage, but I know they make out big time. Another reason a store owner or employee should not be allowed to "purchase" a ticket in their own store. The rules should state that if they want to play, they MUST buy their tickets in another store. I welcome comments from players and the NCEL.NC Lottery
