Six North Carolinians will travel to Vegas for chance to win $1 million

In October, six lucky players will travel to Las Vegas for the chance to appear on the MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ lottery television game show.

The players were randomly selected out of 92,000 entries after submitting their MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB instant tickets into a second-chance drawing. Each will receive a five-day, four-night trip to Las Vegas, where TV game show episodes are taped.

Attendees will have a chance to be randomly selected as a contestant on the show. Each episode will offer the potential of more than $2.3 million in prizes. The show, which features Billy Gardell of “Mike and Molly” as host, is taped at the Bally’s Hotel & Casino. Trip winners and their guests will stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The winners were:

• Betty Simpson of Greensboro
• Frank Altamura of Greensboro
• Esther Galloway-Gibbs of Mount Airy
• Carol Gardner of Kenly
• Michael Taylor of Statesville
• Elizabeth Davolio of Hickory

This is the second time that  Davolio, a retired banker, has won a chance to appear on the game show.
 
“I couldn’t attend last time so I had someone appear on my behalf,” Davolio said. “This time I really want to go and experience everything firsthand. It really is a shock that I won again. I’m feeling very lucky.”

Six more players will be chosen in the final drawing on Nov. 10, so enter as often as you like until the entry deadline at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 8.
