More BBQ Bucks winners, last entry deadline approaching

It has been a September to remember for lottery fun, in large part thanks to BBQ Bucks. And it’s not just that the tickets smell like smoky BBQ when you scratch them, or that two players have already claimed $25,000 top prizes.

We’ve been drawing names at random for $50 gift cards and BBQ Bucks T-shirts, just for voting on social media which style of N.C. BBQ is best: East or west. Winners in the second drawing are:

- Bobby Burkhart of Mount Airy
- Shelby Clark of Kinston
- Akilah Corder of Goldsboro
- Danny Greene of Dallas, NC
- LaShonda Harris of Spencer
- Wayne McNeill of Pittsboro
- Tom Reid of Hamptonville
- Michael Summers of Harmony
- Cheryl Waller Shipp of Winterville

All but one winner this week, Danny Greene, voted east.

“My favorite style of N.C. BBQ is Eastern Style because they have so many different flavors to choose from – whether it’s vinegary, smoky or sweet,” said Akilah Corder, who likes to eat at McCall’s BBQ in Clayton.

Week Three winners are in the process of being verified. The deadline to enter the fourth and final drawing is midnight Sunday.

Remember: We’d love to hear from you which style you like best, why and where you like to get it. But only votes on Facebook and Twitter give you a chance to win!

This is pretty rude of those Lexington people that won 10 million dollar when the fact is they only get 4 million. Why are they force to put up a placard that says 10 million? NC Lottery
Good morning,Starvo. The top prize in Ultimate Millions is $10 million. You can get $500,000 a year for 20 years or chose a lump sum of $6 million. These winners chose the lump sum. We don't force to do "Big Check" photos. Many winners are glad to do it and think it's fun.
