New-look ‘Multiplier’ games start First Tuesday

What’s better than winning a prize? How about multiplying it? New versions of the popular “X The Cash” tickets are coming to stores for First Tuesday, Feb. 2 with the chance to multiply your winnings by up to 50X for top prizes up to $1 million.

A fresh feature for these games is the opportunity to win all the prizes on the ticket. Just match the “WIN IT ALL” number and every prize you scratch off is yours.

Here are some more details on the new games.

- 50X The Cash ($10): Six top prizes of $1 million and more than 131,000 prizes of $50 to $10,000.
- 20X The Cash ($5): Six top prizes of $200,000 and more than 95,000 prizes of $30 to $1,000.
- 10X The Cash ($2): Eight top prizes of $50,000 and more than $11.8 million in total prizes.
- 5X The Cash ($1): Ten top prizes of $10,000 and more than $6.4 million in total prizes.

All these new games will be just like the rest have been. Take your money and give you nothing. Save your Money people you will need it one day.It's just one BIG SCAM.Most are break even are nothing and a Lot of nothing.Saw 9 tickets bought off the same roll yesterday and he won nothing.Out of 31 tickets bought one was a $20.00 for a $10.00 ticket,one $5.00 for a $5.00 ticket and a $2.00 for a $2.00 ticket. What a Joke.

ive noticed some people say that when they enter tickets it says they have more than one account. If they do in fact have only one account could the reason it says that be that some less honest retailers be scanning tickets that are turned in. Ive wondered this becaise a gas station I biy from they have a stack of scratched tickets behind the counter. I know usually when you turn in a winner they rip it in half so what would be the reason for them keeping the tickets since it could technically disqualify someone from a second chamce drawing even though they did nothing wrongNC Lottery

I think the lottery is rigged toward the eastern part of the state. I never win in Greensboro anymore and used to win quite a bit on scratch cards. So I will not be buying but a few a year from now on.

Sorry for the delay in getting a response. In most cases, there is a lump sum option. But in the case of multiple winners, 15 or more, there would not be. That's why the rule say "may."

Not sure which game you're referring to. But a major factor in how the draw dates for second chance are determined is by the estimated amount of time tickets need to be on sale to adequately fund the second-chance prizes.
