Cooking up fun at the Lexington Barbecue Festival

The 33rd Annual Barbecue Festival in the City of Lexington is upon us. If you're planning to check out the attractions and get a plate of North Carolina's famous BBQ on Saturday, put a stop by our booth on your menu.

You can get tickets for new instant games like Carolina Millions. And we'll have the buy, spin and win promotion for your chance to get extra lottery merchandise.

More than 200,000 people come to the festival, which starts Tuesday and lasts through Sunday. There are over 400 exhibitors plus live music and entertainment. We'll be there Saturday and hope to see you at the festival too.

We did not receive any other reports of this on the blog or through social media over the weekend, so it sounds like it could be something with your device or browser. Any time you have a technical issue, please click on the HELP link at the top of the screen. There is a toll-free # there that you can call, or you can also fill out an ONLINE SUPPORT form.

I've said it before, there are way bigger things going on in the world today then for people to pi$$ and moan and complain about the lottery. It has been 30 days since the drawing was held. The 30-day countdown to the claim deadline begins at the moment the winner is notified, which is usually but not always within 48 hours of the date of the drawing. Winner information posted on the website is not updated immediately at the time of claim. If a winner does not claim within 30 days of notification, the prize is awarded to an alternate winner.

Are winners notified by e-mail and voice mail?i was thinking that our name would show up on the winners boared! I wonder if i have won and just dont know about it iv intered thousands of intries ...and i never knew we still had to claim the prize for our name to show up as a winner!NC Lottery
The question we get most often has to do with winner notification and winner announcements as it relates to Lucke-Rewards and promotional drawings. Winners are typically notified by email within 48 hours. So for a drawing held on a Wednesday, winners can expect a message by 5 p.m. Friday. If a winner does not respond to email notification, we will follow up with a telephone call and, if necessary, send certified mail.

Some of the winners have been notified but have not completed the claim process. Winners have 30 days from when they are notified to claim. Update from storm! Our Church and Pastor's house both had 4 feet of water inside, Brother-in-laws house 3 feet of water inside. Son's house structural damage, several other friends and family houses were under 4 feet of water. Still not complaining the LORD is in charge, still desiring your PRAYERS! The need is GREAT!!!
