There's nothing like game day. And one loyal Panthers supporter and 15 friends are in for a VIP game day experience. Sonia Bishop won the prize by entering Panthers scratch-off tickets into a second-chance drawing held Sept. 21.
"When they called me I said, 'This is a dream come true!'" Bishop said. "I've never been to an NFL game before. I'm a big Panthers fan. I have it all over my house. Even my car, I have the plate on the front of my car."
Bishop gets to bring 15 people with her to Bank of America Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 13 to watch from a private suite as the Panthers take on the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. The party will enjoy $1,500 in food and beverages. Bishop and a guest will get pregame sideline passes and the opportunity to hand the game ball to officials prior to the game. Bishop will get autographed Panthers gear and more.
Ten other winners in the drawing got a pair of tickets to Panthers games. Those winners are from Sanford, Waxhaw, High Point, Morganton, High Point, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Lowell, Charlotte, and Hickory.
Another second-chance drawing will be held to award a lucky winner a Panthers fan's dream prize: 20 years of season tickets. Everyone who entered the Sept. 21 drawing, and everyone who submits a ticket before the grand prize drawing deadline, will have a chance to win. The date for that drawing has yet to be determined.
Last but not least, there are currently two $200,000 top prizes on Panthers tickets that can be won instantly. So good luck to the Panthers players and lottery players out there - we're rooting for you to win!
